What separates Elton from others is his obsession with painfully precise pitch. This isn't John Elton's version but it's your own. You did a great job. My ear prefers a little bit more attention to the notes and less with the smoke in your voice, but you did a bang up job and I'm jealous of your skills on the ivory. :)

i know your not looking for criticism, but it happens on here! right? anyways. i think you should definately slow it down a bit, back to the original tempo. when you work your way up the piano, and your not singing, only do the arm flail once. it gets a little...oh idk. i wont say. change the vowel sound when you say world, as well. Sorry about that! other than that, i really liked your voice, and your a talented pianist, plus you were rockin that hat and Glasses!
