As is my memory (which was from when I saw the musical two and half years ago, so forgive me if I'm incorrect!), in the actual musical (in it's final form), Dorothy DOES throw the water over Elphaba, thereby "melting" her, as Elphaba had planned. So no, Wizard of Oz isn't innacurate, as from Dorothy's perspective, she DID melt Elphaba, rather than just the faked melting present in the musical.
'I had to take a breath, where do I take I breath in there?' So Cute and also how Kristin smiles at Idina across the Piano. I love them both, they sing so beautifully together x
what makes Idina Menzel amazing isn't her musical perfection, rather her imperfections which just work so well coupled with her fearless attitude which make Idina a once in a generation performer
no one can replace Idina Menzel for Elphaba, and although I enjoyed watching The Musical live at London in October, none of the Galinda's I have seen don't quite hit the character as right as Kristin Chenoweth.

Chris version is better, the gay kid from Glee. Come on really, she cant even hit the high notes. Chirs hits the high notes when he suppose to be singing the low parts. But I guess thats because he is used to hitting those notes when he gets it in the Butt. They can both hit any note in the song, there is a certain effect in the song that they excute perfectly, what you are hearing is bad camera. The effect to be produced is using minor chords and dissonence, which they execute perfectly, take a look at the last chord of the song and tell me what you notice about it. Give you a hint, it is not your typical chord ending.

Chris version is better, the gay kid from Glee. Come on really, she cant even hit the high notes. Chirs hits the high notes when he suppose to be singing the low parts. But I guess thats because he is used to hitting those notes when he gets it in the Butt. One thing about his gayness is that it made him a better singer, now he can blow Idina away, makes her version seem boring.

@SingJiya Sorry no, you have no idea who you are talking about. They can both hit any note in the song, there is a certain effect in the song that they excute perfectly, what you are hearing is bad camera. The effect to be produced is using minor chords and dissonence, which they execute perfectly, take a look at the last chord of the song and tell me what you notice about it. Give you a hint, it is not your typical chord ending.

@BrotherVBrother Hi took a listen and felt nothing, in fact it was kinda irritating. I think you may have your hopes to high for these girls. I think they are just average or a little below. I think Chris the little Fag from Glee, would of been a better choice for the Green Witch. Right when he opens his mouth the whole world stops, he has a really high pitch Girls voice coming out of a 12 year old boys body. I miss seeing Wicked again this year....my absolutely all time favorite musical of all time. But this song is the epitome of what the show was all about, the love between these friends. Goose bumps every time I hear this.
