I think the nurse had a legit concern, and the doctor knew what he was doing, I think it was appropriate for the nurse to check with the doctor . To me they were working together. The nurses,s thoughts were , why fix something that isnt broke, the doctor was thinking of Maintaining a healthy state. The doctor was like, YEAH its normal NOW, but lets keep it normal. If the patient was taken off of Meto, the numbers would have shot up again.
As an RN I find this offensive. We are professionals hence we have the legal obligation to question medical orders.
HOWEVER! This video is appalling. Of course a nurse would know when to give or withhold a patient's anti-hypertensive.
@MedicineResident what is your game? Do you get off on building the rift between docs and nurses. This is why the healthcare delivery is fucked in many places
Oh BTW Doctors. After volunteering in a hospital, by daughter an honors BioChem And Psychology major who had aspirations of becoming one of you, and decided against it. Reason! She witnessed how Doctors treat Nurses.
I'd trust a Nurse anytime. Dr.s? They don't even follow up on Frickin test that they order. Even after you complain, and specialist report back to them multiple times.
ok that was dumb...but I'm tired of ppl like AnonHateMachine who think "doctors know better than nurses." Nurses are BY THE BEDSIDE. We see more than any doctor would EVER see in his whole career! Had a patient on my unit just yesterday who was in DKA and the doctor did not believe the nurses. Every chemistry lab and ABG was out of wack! Had to call in SWAT because the doctors didn't want to do anything about it. Long story short, pt had to be transferred to the MICU. ppl love their nurses more
you know, I don't think all these versus movies are good for medical people. All they do is just promote hostile feelings towards other hospital personnel.
HAHAHAHA as always, right on the ball. I doubt nursing school has a minimum IQ requirement. And they still want to become NP's and prescribe !!!!??? hahahahahahaha
doctors = wanna be GOD!

Everyone settle down. I'm not a doc or a nurse but I'm pretty sure this is meant to be funny. Not insulting.

Wow, that nurse should get a CT scan. He might have some fluid on the brain.
