@Indigohue It doesn't have to be abuse, the cat might just be feral. Some cats really hate being caged and others really hate new people. Abuse shouldn't always be the first place you go when you an animal in distress. Sometimes its a million other little things.

@Indigohue The only reason I say it might be feral is because I've tamed feral cats and this is what you get for the first week and a half. When you cage a feral cat its behaves like this because its terrified, and its not used to being cages. I would bet this cat is feral, just because an abused cat doesn't always react this way. It will usually respond to kindness fairly quickly. (If you couldn't tell, I spent alot of my childhood with barn cats, lolz)
