Does anyone else find url shortening to be extremely annoying? They totally obfuscate what site you're going to be visiting when you click on the URL.. I guess it's useful for Twitter - is there any other reason to use these services (short of rick rolling someone)?

I find this strange. IP's are scary usable. Any website at any time can see Where you live, what browser you use, and if you are rich or not (platforms can determine general tech know-how and by price can determine about how rich the person is)

@WhoWatchesVideos Yes IPs are usable, but that doesn't mean they're accurate. Many people also use dynamic IPs and don't forget all the Wi-Fi users out there.
