I am in Tokyo right now and Georgia coffee in a can is huge here. Seriously, and not just Georgia there are a ton of brands like Boss, which plaster Tommy Lee Jones's face on their vending machines.

I drink a coffee from a can basically everyday and it really isn't as bad as it sounds, plus it is all nice and warm when it gets out of the machine.

I don't know who was the first to put coffee in cans, but i was under the impression that Georgia coffee was as Japanese as it got. A quick look at Wikipedia shows its made by Coca Cola, but it's only for a few select markets in Asia. It is not sold in Georgia.
