For rider safety, the sign pole at 9:40 should not be located there. Also, the huge tree stump at 9:24 should have been removed as well. I fought endless battles with promoters to make events safer for the competitors, by removing hazards. Racing is dangerous enough, without the added hazards which are unnecessary. Racing is a great sport, but getting hurt, or dying, because of some easily avoided danger, is inexcusable!

@Knom14 almost all racing cars nowadays are fitted with rubber petrol tanks lined with kevlar to stop them being pierced and exploding but they are a relatively new addition to motorsport so before this they used to get damaged, leak and catch a spark and ignite
