My brother got a form of strep which was almost a death sentence, and from what ive been told those who do survive are many times left disabled (mentally and/or physically). He even had 100% kidney failure at one point.

He made a full recovery, but got no presents except a stuffed animal, but getting out of there without being mentally retarded was probably the best gift he could have gotten.

I've played both scenarios, and I think that using Claire first is definitely better. A lot of people don't like to though, and I don't really know why. Maybe because Claire A/Leon B has a lot more gore in it.

The room at 22:12 isn't a safe room because in scenario B this room is full of zombies. I used to think it was a safe room due to the item box, but then I realised there's only an item box and no typewriter. Only rooms with typewriters are safe, like the main hall.

@MrSWHOUSTON713 Resident Evil 2 has 2 discs. One for Leon & one for Claire. But in case your not talking about that, You have to beat Leon's 1st scenario to unlock Claire's 2nd scenario. OR, beat Claire's 1st scenario to unlock Leon's 2nd scenario. Hope that helps. :)

What worked for me was to pick up ammunition on the way to the police station, kill the two zombies in the park outside and then check the gates. It didn't work for me unless you killed the two zombies in the park.

(1 of 2) For me, Necro, in order to view the big iron gates and those three zombies out there, you have to kill the two zombies in the small park outside the RPD building instead of going down the stairs. Of course, Brad Vickers has the Special Key here, so to get the view of the gates and the three zombies you have to pick up items on the way to the police station and kill the two zombies in the park before checking that exact same spot where the iron gates should be.

@8huhable No Lickers have no eyes they only React to Sound. in RE 5 you can easily pass the Lickers by walking however i did not know that when I played RE 2 years ago but no they cant see you.

As far as the trick to get zombie Brad to appear, there' s another way to beat him easily. Once you go into that little park area where he appears, he'll stay there so you can go into the police station and grab a little more ammo then go back and kill him.

the thing about lickers and sound is half-true. if they hear you, they will move to where it is that they last heard you and attack. so you can't stay still. when you see them crouch up, that means they've heard something and are trying to find your location. the trick is to walk slowly, and stop whenever you see them perk up like that, until they return to normal, then walk again. check out LucianoRX 's RE2 videos for good examples of how to avoid lickers.

This brings back so many memories. RE2 was also my first ever Resident Evil game.

The Lickers terrified me. I played in the basement room of a friend's house; down about 20 stairs with no lightswitch at the bottom; so I had to walk up them every night in darkness. Passing that, I had to walk home (3 houses down) in darkness. Needless to say, I ran as fast as I could every single time.

But damn, walking into RPD hit me with so much nostalgia.

I need to go play it again after all these years.
