Those are the same trains that are in my town in Belvidere, Illinois... They are used for transporting cars from Chrysler... I see it all the time... This is completely retarded.

I agree that they are car carriers (I live in Detroit) but all things can have "different" uses.

The fact that the automotive companies have slowed production and closed plants means that we'll see more of these until the production ramps back up.

Being that I'm a truck driver also and that these loads are paying $5k each is eyebrow raising to be sure.
