I found it interesting that blood has a slightly basic pH level (between 7.35 and 7.45). I just figured it would be neutral. I also found it interesting that Naphtholphthalein is used as an indicator in chemical reactions.

I feel that from a slightly more enlightened state of consciousness, I am obligated to dispel your tenth grade ignorance. While you are correct, acids are not ionic compounds in the sense they generally do not contain metal ions, they ARE considered ionic because they dissociate into IONS in water. If this were not true, you would not exist, as acid-base equilibriums play an important part in our bodies.

All acids can be ionic, being a molecular compound has nothing to do with it. That's like telling someone that they're not made out of matter, but rather atoms. It's meaningless. A molecule can be ionic as a compound too.

Hydrogen is an unusual element in that it is technically a non-metal yet it has some of the reactive properties of metals. In the periodic table it is listed among the metals for this reason.

I suggest you learn some basic chemistry before criticizing others.

I got a question. If a buy som evian water that has a pH factor of 7.2 and add some ph drops in it that os 12.25. Would it make my water alkline? I so by how much? if you've tested the pH and it falls in an alkaline pH range, then it'll make your water alkaline. you should definitely get the water separation/filtration system, the one that separates the water into acidic and alkaline one right? i've got that as well.
