Conservatives, as exemplified at TEA Parties, usually spend their time criticizing moderate and liberal philosophies. actually i think she would add a new flair to the woefully under represented female population in politics. perhaps if you could get over the fact that she is a woman and to see her for her true value as a moderate level headed politician you could understand that she is just what this country needs.

I am surrounded by conservatives in my life and when I say anything about Bible Spice being a dim bulb they make the point that they are impressed by her conservative views on various issues.
My question: Is it too much to ask that someone have solid idealogical views AND be intellectually qualified for the job?

I wish people would stop taking Sarah Palin seriously. As a person that doesn't affiliate himself with either party, I can say that Sarah Palin absolutely doesn't have the intellectual capacity of anyone that has ever run on a national ticket. She doesn't HAVE the intellect to compete with a Mitt Romney/Newt Gingrich etc. The fact that she still has Republican supporters is just shocking to me. It makes me wonder just how credible the base of Republican party can possibly be.

ha! Well, my point is that I truly believe that the most appealing thing about Sarah Palin was her sex appeal, followed by her personality. After all, she had no real positions or ANYTHING of real substance. She'd blab on, but it was always empty gibberish. People might accept that from a 45 year old woman, but one 10 years older? I doubt it.

I agree with one of those emails. During the election, Mccain always claimed country first. Yet, he went and chose a completely inept, intellectually deficient runningmate.
