Really great video, but there was one point that wasn't quite clear: in Step 10, do you release the badger *before* or *after* the kettle boils?

It's important to keep in mind the seasonal climate of Victoria, BC, where they're filming, and that of Edzo, NWT, where the badger is to be released. Taking those effects into consideration, use your best judgement based upon the temperament of the penguins.
