  • Sadly, the republican machine went to work and made Alan a prime target to defeat and their goal was accomplished in the last election. Karl Rove, Roger Ayles, Fox News, Frank Luntz; et. al., use tons of money to stamp out those who are not afraid to speak the truth. The United States became the world's "Debtor Nation" as far back as September 2004, just two months before George Bush was re-elected to swerve the country for four more years. What a tradgedy this has led to.

  • When democrats see someone in need, they want bigger government to use everyone else's money to do something about it. That is like a virus that ultimately feeds off the organisim and destroys it. That kind of sucking off of taxpayers is not sustainable. Our fiscal crisis is ample evidence, but Democrats are obviously blind to this problem. It almost appears that democrats want to destroy this nation, good heart and all.

  • God Bless Grayson...!!!!!

  • hes like a kennedy and both roosevelts combined

  • This guy...is just as bad as the Palins and Glenn Becks on then right. I am a Republican, but I am far from selfish. As our many other Republicans. It's not a view on whether or not we should give, but what the role of government ought to be. And yet, I refuse to stoop down to the namecalling on both sides. People like Alan Grayson and Jim DeMint are tearing our country apart at the seams. Yes, we can debate, yes we can disagree, but the name calling must stop.

  • What it means to be a democrat (yeah, no capital letter for them)...Higher taxes, Bigger Government, more entitlements, socialist policies, and so much more! Get obozo OUT OF OFFICE in 2012!

  • @cybervore you do realize that your description is 100% accurate... if you apply it to the policies of the Bush administration that is. Under Obama, we have even lower taxes than under Bush. But under Bush, the size of government grew more than under any other president in history. Huge bailouts for corporations is socialism. Too big to fail is socialism. No bid contracts is socialism. Brother, better look behind you because you been had by your own kind.

  • this guy has my vote .... there is no second thought! man I've been waiting for a democrats with balls for so long! ALAN GRAYSON!!!!!!!!!!

  • republiCUNTS are cave dwellers covered in bat shit, piss, and cum! i hope the terrorists target tea party rallies this summer!!!!

  • republiCUNTS adore palin, mccain, bush, beck, and oreilly! hahahaha nuff said!

  • Hey everyone, look, it's Loser-fest

  • Holy Crap! Trying to help everyone with HANDOUTS stolen from Other People is playing Robin Hood on someone else's dime! It is NOT compassion to enslave people as wards of the STATE. Certainly not compassion to STEAL the fruits of other people's labor. Republicans have a long way to reform to become Conservative Libertarians again, but at least they claim the right values. I'll still take Grayson as an aide in beating up on Bernanke

  • Yikes! Looks like Beck has gotten in your brain! You have a case of the Batshit!

  • Why is it that everything this blowhard attributes to Republicans far more true about Democrats... ? And listening to this i guess what he says about Democrats is far more true about Republicans as well.

  • @MasterFhyl

Lol you fail at politics.....sorry but if you side with the current republicans..your just an idiot whos gonna find out down the road that every decision you backed cost you dearly. Every single step for republicans has been done for no reason other than to kill health reform. Stall, filibuster, weaken. Its just pathetic and finally people are starting to see it and back people like this. You're just gonna be left behind.

  • So, what is Alan Grayson's goal with health care reform? I must have missed it among his nonstop rant about how cool he thinks he is and how evil Republicans are (which was pretty much his entire speech). The Democrats plan for healthcare reform is to have people who work for a living (like me) to pay increased taxes for everyone else, including people who do things to put themselves at high risk for health problems, like smoking and doing drugs. Those people will leech off the taxpayers.

  • @dunkelfier

alan graysons plan would have been the public option. There is always going to be individuals who require more medical attention. Tough. But the point is that atleast YOU will be covered when you need it. Insurance companies try their damnest to not pay. Its a responsibility they have to their share holders. If you dont think the public option is a good idea, then why does virtually every other first world nation employ it succesfully?

  • @boorens18 What makes you think the government would be more ethical with health care distribution than insurance companies? There is no way they could pay for everyone to get all the health care coverage they need without either A. cutting people's benefits or limiting the amount of care people can receive in a fiscal year, or B. raising taxes even higher than they already plan to to pay for extra treatments, which will put the economy even deeper in the hole. Neither one sounds good to me.

  • @dunkelfier

Both in theory and because of the examples (medicaid and medicare) the government IS more responsible than companies and perfectly capable. Companies are driven by profit (ie to not cover as many payers as possible) while the government isnt. As for your claims they couldnt cover everyone, that's total bull. The government doesnt need to make a profit so it can provide the lowest rates feasible.

  • lol bullfuckinshit!!! you republiCUNTS don't care about anything but your guns and starting wars against weak nations. COWARDLY FAGGOTS

  • -More money for us

    -Fuck you

  • being a democrat means never not saying you're sorry

  • Mediocrity ALWAYS attacks Excellence! I hope this man runs for President after two terms of President Obama. We might have a shot at getting this country and the planet correct.

  • Dude you rock Alan !

  • Alan Grayson for PRESIDENT!!!

  • He has my vote, I will register as Dem because of him.

  • samdouchetard, = one of the few mo-rans left in the criminal, amoral, cowardly party of chickenshit chickenhawk Repiglickins...looks like you decid to go FULL retard eh?! :)

  • resist the liberal poison, stupid!

  • thes theocon, you ARE a fucking asshole, and probably another lying, stealing, mouth breathin', knuckle draggin', chickenshit, chickenhawk Repiglcker...go fuck yourself retard!

  • Yes...cause that made your arguments so much more valid. And here I thought that the Democrats were the people of logic and conscience...yet you can clearly find nothing more to say to my argument then to spit insults at me. When you get your facts in line, lets talk, cause I have mine. You are acting like a spoiled, stupid child. You want to have a mature, adult discussion, fine. Cause, after all, that's what your party does, right?

  • You're BOTH behaving like children. O_o

  • Ahem...still waiting for that clever, articulate, factually based response here. Unless of course, you don't have one, and then, as I do, that would leave me correct, wouldn't it? And we can't have that, a correct Conservative? Please, someone prove to me that you can do more than insult me. Oh, and a translation of those insults would be helpful.

  • You replied to the wrong person. Both of you are behaving like brats; I refuse to be drawn into your retarded little squabble.

  • dumb ass - geez!

  • hero!!!!!! keep going!!!! we are behind you.

  • After the 2000 election. And the way florida is treating alan grayson for asking the tough questions, That need to be asked ,For the good of the nation, It appears they miss the tom feeneys of the country. Him and his currupt programs to install into voting machines ,And rob voters of their votes And they wonder why the country is hoping that florida breaks off this nation and floats out to sea.their still down their licking the crap out of a old pair of bush's boots.YOU BUSH BOOTLICKERS

  • Grayson for Pres in 2016!

  • I'm with you, he's got my vote

  • Grayson for Pres in 2016

    here here

  • This is leadership. This is patriotism. This is the Democratic Party!!

  • This is precisely the type of representative we need in Congress. The so called Democratic Party has been infiltrated with a bunch of corporate loyalists, who merely speak about compassion and the common good, all the while doing the bidding of their corporate task masters. That is why they are reluctant to speak for true progressive reforms, and fight the encroachment of the corporate world on public welfare. We need to elect more men like Grayson and Kucinich, and less like Obama.

  • Grayson is awesome!!!!!! I would vote for him.

Oh man, and he had me laughing my ass off about the lady who called him. Bravo!

  • As long as we have representative government, a little socialism is fucking awesome when 1% of americans are more wealthy than 95% of the rest of us! Bring on some of that socialism (and not just for the rich as it is now).

  • I love the 'shout out' lumping Blue Dog Democrats with Republicans.

  • When I watch c-span, (pity me) I see grown people act like children. Or at least I hope they're acting. I consider myself a conservative, so I really don't identify with either of the current two parties, but rather two people. Alan Grayson (D) and Ron Paul (R). They have different approaches but it is clear that they have Americans best interests in mind. They are Statesmen. They are honest and courageous, and that is exactly what America needs right now.

  • Libertarians I am sorry your time has passed, The world is too big and too complex to allow you complete individual license. Some of your economic ideas (sound currency) are good and will be useful as society moves forward. But your devotion to rampant over individualism is misguided, Society is communal by nature and therefore certain things you see as privilege (health care) We understand to be an inalienable right. We are ethically correct in this and its happening with or without your consent

  • Sure, it is ethical and an inalienable right to take away people's property without their consent, and then be charitable with that stolen wealth and do good around the world, eh? Viva la Socialismo! -_-

  • We need a backbone. You gonna fight for us? If not...

  • Hmmm had no problem taking money for the Iraq war and rebuilding Iraq. That's OK? It's OK to make others pay to kill people in a foreign country then rebuild the country? Very strange kill OK give health care bad? Is OK to build roads? Is it OK to have a fire dept. ?

I don't think I should be asking you.

  • Hey wait, I totally agree with you! Why do you assume I argue for the other Socialist party? Both Republicans and Democrats are for big government and running military empire these days.

What I'd like to see is the real change towards the restoration of the US Constitutiuon and individual freedom of people to decide things for themselves.

  • Obama needs time to fix the mess that was made. It took 8 years to take this country down it will take time to fix it.

  • Sure does, but by expanding the war in Afghanistan and forcing socialized medicine on everyone it is hardly a fix at all, and definitely not the change I can believe in.

  • It's the change that was voted for. You lost the change that you believe in. Try another country.

  • You are still making wrong assumptions, I never voted for Bush and big govt. Republicans. Anyway, let's stop this crap, peace.

  • He says he wants a different destination yet he refuses to change course. If you don't change course then you will never get to your new destination.

  • So you're for advocating letting all the dead beat dads go free, and not hold them accountable for even a penny. Can't be impeding on their individuality by making them pay child support, that would be theft!

  • But the rich taking money from the poor is not socialist, huh...when psycho boy bush became president and gave tax cuts to the rich he raised taxes on the poor this is a fact...that wasn't socialist it was nazism.

  • It's not that simple.

  • You republicans that joined the military think you get an extra vote. Get fuck out of here. Stop using your service like a political tool. There are blacks, white, browns and reds in the military along with republicans and democrats.

  • So sad that the ones that fucked up this country now complain how fuck up it is.

@GruntMike I think health care should be right in this country. As many do in all the other modern countries. Working for a wage and health insurance is not a hand out. It's working for a wage and health insurance. The hand goes to the employer that doesn't provide and dumps it on all of us.

  • Alan "Drama Queen" Grayson hasn't even read any of the health care reform proposals. He's just a windbag and his little left-wing puppets ride his coat tails with blindfolds on. Keep drinking that koolaid, dumbfucks.

  • I'll put my money on his being more familiar with the various proposals than any of the people critcizing him.

He is not a lightweight, but rather a considerable man. . An extremely acommplished and successful attorney and business man, he has more money than Cresus, but a heart that barely fits in his chest. He is an American, a Democrat, a courageous, good man with a streak of tenacity. God bless him.

  • Rep. Grayson speaks in realistic terms that would make the late George Carlin proud. I expect him to do well in politics.

  • He is an ridiculous moron with no serious intelligence. He is the biggest propaganda freak I have seen in this party. He works on fantastical views that are not real.

  • Obviously, you are part of the problem. Just get out of the way. Change will happen whether you are in it or not !

  • Sadly you might be right and in five to ten years if not sooner when it finally happens you who allowed this tragedy to happen will be regreting it immensly. It is sad to see the retards of this country take over. Congratulations on being a freeloader. I am sure it is better than working hard and earning a living.

  • You speak in terms of a Physic. You have little knowledge. Please don't comment on things you know nothing about.

  • I saw a lot worse countless propaganda freaks in the republican party who can't say anything worth listening to.

And I wish I was also a "moron with no serious intelligence" like him, because he is the 7th richest senator... and it is not from politics.

Working for people seem real to me. I dunno. Maybe I am not real and you live in the matrix or something? Hello? Wake up Nero.

  • What it means to be a dumbocrat?............hatred for ones' country perhaps.

  • What it means to be a RepubliKKKan?.........hatred for one's country if you are not in power for sure.

  • Why is it that no one has anything valid to say other than we are racist because our dumbass president happens to be black? You know what else is funny that most of out military are republican why don't democrats serve if they supposedly love this country?

  • Lotsa Dems have served. If that is what you want, why didn't you vote for Kerry?

  • Barack Obama is the antithesis of a "dumbass".

  • Most of the military republican? Loathsome, silly lie.

  • Public Option Public Option Public Option Public Option Public Option Public Option Public Option Public Option Public Option Public Option Public Option Public Option

  • I am a student. I made $15,000 last year and have a 750 square foot apartment in downtown Chicago versus your 4000 square foot mansion. I vacation locally. People here needs HEALTHCARE and I'm going to pay for it. Thank you for asking.

  • No shit we will all be paying for it. It is called tax funded.

  • The insurance just adds unneeded overhead to all of it. Public option(nonprofit) would drive down cost for all of us. A much needed injection of cash into the system. Plus all the unseen waste of people going to ER that cost more. Plus the condition sometimes can be treated with only medication if caught early. Although the initial cost will be hard at first.

  • Wow you really need to re-educate yourself because the public option would increase tax on all of us, which means I pay for my health insurance and yours if you have public care. Also companies will drop their insurane and take the cheap penalty which means more people on the public option if not all of us, So then all of us will be on a government plan that they won't be able to handle and we will wait inline for crappy care. Do the research and stop living in fantasy.

  • You buy that crap. I know better. That's just what the insurance wants you to think. Plus the ones that are skimping out on paying will finally stop being a leech.

  • Comment removed

  • What are you going on about. The public option would be cheaper then insurance today I don't give a shit about profit of blue cross blue shield. You must be talking about the companies that already don't put in. I don't care about them. If they go out of business that's the free market at work.

  • I am done with you. You obviously are just like the rest of the unintelligent pricks running this country into the ground and don't understand how things work, you can't have succession without profit and competition just because you only think about today and not tomorrow is why this country will fail if more idiot like you continue to breed and screw us all over that are actully worth something in this country. Enjoy your handouts you lazy bastard.

  • Save your bullshit. I have heard enough. From death panels to mushroom clouds. You got to be kidding me. You must take the bait every time. You had nothing to say when you admit to not giving your own employees insurance. Your the problem get out the way.

  • You are so stupid I repeatedly said I don't own a business you moron. I said it is not the responsibility of a company to provide coverage it is a privelage that people have come to expect and that is their mistake not the companies. Just admit you want everything handed to you and work for nothing, it is already obvious. Just because you are ignorant to reality doesnt' mean it doesn't exist.

  • Gruntmike, Sugarmonkey, you are both right , I agree whit you but, are the isurance gruops not at fault for, decieving, denying care, taking your money, and defruading you in so many ways and not beig held accountable for their acctions, but yeah! blame the victims. There are families that follow every sample that you mention, work hard all their lives just to be taken to the poor house by this corporations that don give a shit about you but your money, who's fualt is it?

  • I agree with you and that is why Republicans want to fix the current system by setting rgulations and things to improve the real problems such as pre existing conditions. The real problem is that people are taking social ethics and trying to make them law. It is socially ethical to supply employees with healthcare when a CEO makes billions but it isn't a law. The problem is not companies it is insurance and that is what needs to be fixed.

  • But thats nothig new, why the Reps. waited until now to try fix it? this has been going on for a long time.

  • There have been attempts on both sides in the past but last President had bigger things to worry about with trying to keep America safe from crazy religious freaks. I give the Dems credit for taking this on but one it is a bad time with a depression to try to restructure this system like they want but overall the Reps have a better plan but are getting shut down by Dems.

  • ...to keep America safe from crazy religious freaks... Yeah, but should include the ones that are born and live in America (cristhians, mormons, jews...) all the religious freaks!

  • Only the ones that molest and kill, I do think that religion is horrible and for weak minded pathetic people who have to live in fantasy instead of reality, it is for people who can't accept death for what it is.

  • I just love how the ones fucking us all are playing the victim. Don't tell me your sad story I don't care. People die cause you can't run a business and flip all of us the bill. Give your employees health care or go fuck yourself. Loser.

  • I have a question, if you are fat isn't McDonald's fault or yours? If you can't pay your mortgage is it the banks fault for giving you a loan or yours? If you have five kids and no healthcare is it America's fault or yours for getting pregnant five times with out healthcare? People need to learn to be responsible for all of their choices in life and quite blaming other people. Cut up all your credit cards and pay for shit not borrow money stupid.

  • Why don't you two monkeys add to your hypocrisy and tell us you're "Christians".

  • No religion is the worst thing about the people in this world it has killed more people than all the people that don't have healthcare. How do you justify people making bad decisions? How you justify your thoughts that America is responsible for paying for healthcare?

  • Well at least we agree on religion.

America has to pay cause the ones that should don't. That's why the government gets involved. Besides it's bullshit that the ones that do pay for health care have to compete with ones that pass the buck to everyone else.

  • The Government is meant to "govern" not control or take over. Yes the healthcare system is broke but we need to fix it not replace it. It has only a few flaws that are easier fixed with some regulations rather than trying to start from scratch and as far as a business competing is the nature of this country and the free market so duh. Competition drives everything, learn that then you might have a chance at success.

  • another democrat comedian!

  • would you rather he be a boring old snob that just allows Republicans to bash his party every second of the day?

  • He wants men with guns forcing us to buy government approved health insurance.

  • funny, I never heard him say that. You must live with him and know everything that comes out his mouth....oh you're not??? Then you need to shut up

  • If you do not get health care, you get fined. Don't pay the fine, get a bigger fine. Don't pay that fine, and men with guns come to your house and put you in jail. It's in the bill.

  • Sorry about the shut up comment. It was supposed to be a joke, but when I read it, I saw that it is tough to hear it like I hear the context it is in.

  • its ok, I didn't take it personally

  • I will agree with you, on the name change when the majority of democrats are like you.

  • "when we [democrats] see people in need... " we believe it is in our power to take money from others and give it to those people by force.

That's what it really means to be a democrat . No one is stopping you from helping people. Just let me also help by choice. Don't force me to volunteer. Don't force me to give to charity. Don't force me to surrender my freedoms.

  • Don't force me to pay for wars I do not agree with. Don't force me to support a public option cause employers are irresponsible. Don't force me to build roads, pay for schools, police, fire man, military or anything else. This Anarchy stand is a joke. You want to remove yourself from society feel free. Go live in the woods where you can be as free as you wish. Nobody will force you to stay with us.

  • Agree.

    Agree.

I never said I wanted to "remove myself from society". Why is it always "all or nothing"? There are things the government should do and there are things government shouldn't. Why is it that people, usually liberal-minded people, believe the government is the answer to all their problems?

Want health care? Get a job and pay for it! Want a house. Earn it! It's not my job, or that of the government, to provide people with what they want/need.

  • Maybe we agree here. They should get a job. We should just force irresponsible employers to pay for wage and health care like they should. I'm a bit sick of the employers dumping the burden on the tax payers. I would be more then happy with this arrangement.

  • Well, we sort of agree. I'm all for earning what you have, but you loose me at forcing businesses to provide health care. No one should be forced to provide a commodity to their employees. Let the market sort it out.

There's a reason the call health insurance a "benefit" when you get a job. If you have the choice between two equal jobs and one has a better benefits package, which would you take? That's the free market.

How is private business dumping it on the tax payers?

  • Irresponsible private business dump it on the tax payer by not providing health care. When people do not have health care they have to go to ER. If the have no money they get medicaid (<tax payer). If they do not qualify medicaid then the doctors pass on the cost to the rest of us(higher insurance cost) . All cause a business didn't provide it to begin with(employer based health system). So the employer just passed his bill to everyone else. How is this fair?

  • I'm trying to understand your logic, but it's difficult. You blame an employer who gives a person a job. Exchanges money with the employee for their time/skills and then you complain about their compensation.

What's so wrong with the employee buying their own insurance? Why stop there, do you expect employers to pay for their food, shelter, clothing, etc.?

If health insurance is mandated by the government, the employers will simply take the cost out of employees compensation. Nothing is free.

  • When did it become the responsibiltiy of a company to provide healthcare? Yes it is sad that some people don't have healthcare, but let's look at ALL the choices they have made in life, such as did they graduate or slack off and flunk, did they go to college or smoke weed instead, where they stupid and got pregnant at 14 because they have no self control, we all make choices some smart and some not but we make them. I am not responsible for someone who doesn't care about thier life.

  • It doesn't matter if they flunk. You hire someone that flunked school then you bought it. You hire someone that got pregnant at 14 you bought it.

LOL "I am not responsible for someone who doesn't care about their life."

Your not responsible at all that is the problem. Instead you blame everyone else then bitch about the problem. Get a life.

  • I have to be honest your reply doesn't make any sense at all. I am talking about that fact that we all make decisions in life I made one's for the future others don't why is that my fault? Were in the constitution does it state that the American people are responsible for heatlhcare? Yes people need health care, we also need food, we also need a place to stay, we also need education, when does it stop?

  • If an employer is not able to afford the cost of wage and health care then he should not live beyond his means. The employer can just do the job himself until the employer has enough capital that he can take on the responsibility of an employee.

  • You don't own a business do you? I do. It's not as easy as you make it out to be. There are so many government regulations and hidden taxes that employers have to pay it's sometimes easier NOT to hire people. Does that help them? No. Would you rather have a job without benefits but still have a job, or no job at all?

  • So you are the irresponsible one? I see. Stop dumping your burden on society. Get off your ass and do the job yourself. People like you make me sick. You bitch and complain about the public option and it's cause of you that we need the option. Stop being a blood sucker to society. Just cause you are not cut out to run a business.

  • How did you come to that conclusion? You say I'm irresponsible because I don't provide health insurance (a commodity) to employees. Would you rather I only hire 2 full-time people with health insurance than 10 without? That means 8 on the unemployment doles. How is that logical?

I also don't buy my employees cars, homes, or food. See, they earn a wage. They then can spend it on what they deem important. If they think a flat screen TV is more important than health insurance, that's their problem

  • I don't care how you justify your irresponsible behavior. They earn a wage and insurance you are the one screwing us all. Yes you should only hire 8 instead of 10 do not live beyond what you can handle and pass the buck to everyone else. "that's their problem" It's not their problem it's all our problem cause you do not provide. Believe it or not there are business that are not shifting the burden to everyone else.

  • OK, so with your reasoning, I'll fire two of my employees. "Sorry folks, you'll have to find new jobs because I'd rather give the 8 I keep insurance than give you a place to live, food to eat and money for you to buy your own insurance."

Do you not see how insane that logic is? It's not the employers living "above their means" it's the employees living above their means. Do you have a job? Do you have insurance? Do you have a flat screen TV? A cell phone?

    Your "shifting" argument is false.

  • You can't afford the wage and insurance then it's you. With your logic it's hire more people then you can afford and let society pay for what you do not. Stop making it our problem when it's yours.

  • Also here is an idea bundle all your workers into a insurance pool it saves a lot of money. Might be able to squeeze a extra worker in that way.

  • The public option would save all business money by driving down cost. You should be for it.

  • You have no clue how business (or society for that matter) works. It's unfortunate because your lack of understanding is clouding your perspective.

Have a nice life. Hopefully, someone will take care of you for the rest of your life so you don't have to.

  • Amen, I don't if it is just that these lazy pricks have had everything handed to them their whole life or if they just actually think that successful people should pay for their lazyness and lack of concern for their own life to choose insurance over a big truck to compensate for their small dick. You take care of your own crappy life and keep your hands out of my pockets, I make good decisions in life, that is not my fault it is my choice.

  • I second your 'Amen'. I've always said, you are a product of your decisions in life. Choose to wake up and go to work/school or choose to stay out late and party. Choose to save your money and buy things you need or choose to buy a flat screen TV (which I wish I had, but so far no one is fighting for Flat Screen TV Rights!).

Kudos to you GruntMike17. At least I know there's someone on YouTube with a brain. Thanks!

  • Trust me it is refreshing to see that their are some people who have some intelligence and are aware that life is what YOU make of it not what America makes it for you. I am sick of people blaming successful people. I work hard for the little life I have but not once to I blame other people for not being rich. I earn it, I have fought for this country and it saddens me to see that I bled and risked my life for these whiny people who have the balls to complain about their cushy lives. Pathetic!

  • Your in idiot stay out of business your not cut out for it.

  • Wow you have absolutely no intelligence do you? What are you talking about staying out of business, I never said I owned anything you moron. How about you quite either being or supporting freeloaders. I don't get why all the people who want socialist medecine don't just move to Canada or England or Britain quite trying to ruin this country and just live somewhere else. Why is it you all complain about this country but won't leave?

  • You know what I think it is? I think it stems from no one telling their children "No". Think about it. If you can't afford something what do you do? Do you go without? No, you just put it on a credit card. Want a new car? Get a loan. Want a new iPod? Put it on a card.

We have an entire generation raised on getting everything they want when they want it. It scares me, too.

I don't classify myself as rich, but I'm sure some would. I have more than some, less than others, but I worked for it all.

  • Exactly it is like them not keeping score in school or little league as well they don't know failure either they don't know what it means to strive for something and work harder than someone else. I have two girls and they will learn that they have to work for what they want and never ask for a handout. I am rich because I have a great family but have no money because I take care of them like they need, hey like healthcare imagine that.

  • You know what would also drive down cost of health insurance is competition. Allowing people to have choices would be better because a government ran program will suck for all of us. Trust me I have been in the military and had government care it is a joke. The government can't even do their everyday job without bankrupting this country what makes you want to put your health in thier hands. Name one successful government ran anything.

  • I have to ask, do you even have a job? Do you understand how the world works? Has anyone ever told you "No, you can't afford that" or "No, you can't have that"?

That's the problem with our society. Everyone thinks they deserve everything (and at the expense of others). Go to school. Learn. Work hard. Get a job. Stay off drugs. And buy the things you need. Society owes you nothing but a fair shot at success (and failure). It's your life. Earn it.

  • Grayson is my hero; a rare breed... a Democrat with balls! HAha

  • when did you become such a jerk Alan. cut the partisan bullcrap.

  • lol I just can't get myself to believe any politician... Both parties are evenly fucked up and their supporters are blind followers... And it's amazing how manipulated people are these days... and it's sad... that america will go down because of propaganda and ignorance...

  • What the hell's this...a honest politician with a sense of humour, i must be dreamin.

  • We are probably just high, it is all those drugs in the one dollar bills.

  • Do you notice how Alan ignores the Blue Dog remark. Instead he accentuates the positive and spurs on the crowd! Yeah Alan!! Thank you for calling the cards as you see them and not playing the Hitler card like certain people (even here) do.

    Peace hugs from NYC!!

  • HAHAHAHA - The beginning was hilarious.

  • Grayson rules.

  • I'm still waiting for the part where they tell Florida it was punked. This guy can't be real. This has to be a joke.

  • Grayson's comments are reactionary to the Republican's constant demonizing, of well..just about everyone who they consider to not be on their side.

Don't play coy, and pretend the Dems are the ones doing it, apart form Grayson, pretty much no other Dem stands up to the Republican bullshit.

Your ignorance and hypocrisy are stunningly sickening.

And yes Grayson does have a good heart. And so far he has been surprisingly honest with the public. You on the other hand im not too sure about.

  • Righto Seleucus84, Rep. Anthony Weiner from NY is about the only other Democrat who is taking the GOP to task on this issue.

    Grayson/Weiner 2016.

  • As A Democrat Turned Independent I Can't Believe People Are blogging, His District Wants This Guy Out .That Can't Be Right ,I Was Under The Impression This Was Florida's Way Of Paying Back The Nation For The Sucker Punch In The 2000 Election.I was ready to start coming back on vacation.Removing Him from Washingon, At This Point And Time, Would Not Be Using Good Common Sense Congradulation You Elected A Official That Went To Washington And Did What He Said He Was Going To Do, You Should Be Proud

  • Yeah, I'm proud to have this guy in the office.

  • Here here, saying what America is really thinking. I'll vote for common sense everyday and you have my support. Reb's " were telling you now, GET OUT OF THE WAY" cause your party can't lead and won't follow.

  • Alan Grayson Was Voted In Because He Ran On A Foundation Of Removing Contractor Fruad And Eleminating Tax Payer Fruad The Lack Of communication With Him In Washington And Other Elected Officials, Is Grayson never stated That Government is Exempt ,Give Grayson Two Years And He Could Balance Our Countries Budget As A Hobby And The Worlds With Minimal Staff.Look Just One Question, And He might have Saved This Country 9 Trillion Dollars, Me As a tax Payer I Say What Other Questions Does He Have. GFP

  • There are many sides to any issue and there are many possible solutions. None of them can be just saying NO. Not while not proposing an alternative.

Say no to Obamacare and then propose reforms to how the insurance companies work. Saying there is no problem makes you insane or evil. Seeing alternative solutions makes you a wise politician.

The GOP is the party of EVIL now. The RepubliKKKan party. Because all it does is hate Obama. Nothing else. Period.

    Madness.

  • Secede PLZ.

  • I love you Alan Grayson!!

  • 02:55 "or blue dogs"

    oooooo awkward........

  • Why should we be Republican or Democrat. I just like being an AMERICAN

Free to think as I choose. To Vote as I choose. It's called Freedom.

This " Party" crap, and "Lobby's" are whats wrong with the system.

How about being an AMERICAN... Free of, well this "Party" want's this, and

    this "Party" wants that.

Do your job for THE PEOPLE... Not the "party."
