@RickyLeeGuitar A D-16 isn't junk. They have Hybrid Scolloped bracing. This guy is tone deaf. I own a HD-16R LSH. I had a 1992 HD-28. My Father bought the HD-16R LSH brand new so I traded him. I upgraded the pins and saddle, before the up grade it sounded great. After the upgrade it is unbeatable in sound and playability. The vol. will drown your HD-28 out. Basically it is the HD28 V. LSH with a 1/34 nut , MT neck, Hybrid Scalloped bracing. The mod. low profile neck crushes a V.
@foxloner depending on your music style i recon.. i like a "bigger" sound so i usually play the "dreadnought" style, but some people think they're too bulky, so some go for an OM model(orchestar model) "sits" in your lap better for easier play, but you'll give up a little sound, but with amplification that matter is solved, so again back to your personal preferance
@foxloner i love my Zager! best find in a long time. the string spacing is perfect! to have to admit i was a sceptic at first & thought "too good to be true", until i got it..then all my concerns were put to rest.. that's not to mention the customer service is second to none!!
Did you mean to say that the Zager was the guitar that you had to be carefull when playing the D chord? Is that a result of the EZ Play set up....do they space the strings out that far where they are close to the edge of the neck?
I'm was looking forward to an new Martin DC16GTE, but the zager sounds pretty good also, and in the video you said that this guitar is really "easy" to play.
@konnhand i would deffinately recomond the Zager! i love mine i've had for a few months now & have absolutley no issues with it. i never heard of them until i was looking for the "build your own" kits( as you can buy the martin kit & put it together), i have to be honest & thought "it was too good to be true" but glad to know i was wrong. it is everything i hoped for & more, & there customer service is second to none! you can actually talk to "the man" if you feel you need to.thanks for watchin

Apparently you don't know how to string a guitar right. I'm glade you're happy with your Zagger, but you must be tone deaf.

Thanks for this video I have been researching guitars and came across the Zager and have never heard of them. They seem to be really nice guitars.

Okay, then I did hear you correctly, I assumed that the EZplay set up might have led to the strings being spread out a little ....
Thanks for the quick come back....I'll probably be getting me a Zager shortly, and I appreciate the input...
