its actually really sad to see that people care more about James Brown and Ray Charles then Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan. while i agree that both Brown and Charles changed the world of music forever,Ford and Reagan(much more so Reagan) left there mark in american history which will NEVER go away. Did Brown or Charles win the Cold War against Russia and bring down the Berlin Wall?Did they restore the economy after the disastrous administration of Jimmy Carter? etc. the answer is no

I'd definitely miss James Brown more. His music and his antics. Who else in the music industry will be an obsessive compulsive musician that'll fire his own musicians for playing a chord too loud or too soft.

As for Reagan vs Ray Charles. I'll miss Ray Charles more. Fuck Reagan and his policies that've fucked up this country, especially with having the deliberately government put crack in the black communities and ignoring AIDS/HIV when it was first discovered.
