interesting...i wonder why they did such a pitch-perfect cover. I'd rather hear it more Def Leppard style, with DL production a la Hysteria. It was a great idea for them to cover this song but I wish they put more of their own fingerprint on it. I can listen to the Badfinger version if I want to hear something that sounds like this...!

I'm curious how Joe would've sung this in 1988. It's not as hard rock sounding as, say, Poison's cover of "Your Momma Don't Dance." Sounds more like Cheap Trick's version of "Don't Be Cruel".

@me1195 That's not the dumbest thing I've ever heard but it was close. Vivian Campbell is one of the most accomplished guitar players in the history of rock. Dio, Riverdogs, Whitesnake, Def Leppard & Thin Lizzy. That's one hell of a resume for someone who "sucks".
