@Janezk7 Ultimate OVA is based on the manga, the original Hellsing is not. both have different stories. its something like FMA and FMA Brotherhood. i recommend watching Ultimate OVA first, its story is a lot better. you wont miss out on anything should you start Ultimate OVA first before the original. i myself believe Ultimate OVA to be the "genuine" Hellsing, and the original to be like a "bonus"/spinoff

However, in Hellsing, the goal is different. ::this may be a Spoiler:: the original hellsing doesn't really have a "goal". its just Alucard undertaking vampire extermination missions. for Ultimate's case, there's an organisation that has been plotting to bring about an apocalyptic war and to eliminate alucard

What they make is from their artistic imagination and inspiration. I do agree about nearly all anime shows include at least one busty girl, but if you asked the artist "Why?", they'd say "CAUSE ITS FUN!" Being an animator is a tough job at times, but with benefits. I for one prefer English because I can't understand Japanese and the writing for the subs usually annoys me because of the culture barrier. Also since some of the characters have accents (Scottish, English, German) The Japanese version doesn't even seem to do a very good job at the accents. But in all honesty, you're comment is incredibly hard to understand.

I love how it jumps all over the place with varying degrees of content & scale yet it all flows seamlessly together; it goes from low-key vampire hunting, to an epic standoff between two badarses, to a bloody police standoff, to a daring sea assault, to Nazis invading the UK, to a Zulu-style story about soldiers etc etc and I honestly can't see where any major change occurred.
