No, owl city reminds you of this. Jars has been around for many years and Adam Young from Owl City grew up listening to bands like this and Relient K.

But i actually think that Jars has changed their style more as in this song with the electric stuff so ya maybe a bit is a mutual influence. their earlier albums dont sound as much like this which is when adam was listening to this stuff.

@repotinker This song came out before Owl City released an album. They may have similar influences, but Adam's lyrics aren't nearly as mature and poetic as this. Not that Owl City isn't fun--they are.

oh, true for this specific CD. i agree Jars lyrics are always very poetic and reflective of a journey that all of us can relate to. i have been a fan since 97 :) although i still do love their self titled the best. ya i know, know they need to grow but worlds apart is freaking awesome :P
