I watched this the other day on a Sesame Street tape I have (I probably haven't seen this segment in at least 15 years!) and I realized the irony in it. His parents tell him it's his imagination, but yet at the end they ask what's that singing, ("It's just your imagination!) So if they heard the singing it wasn't imagined? Sparky sang?
