Really good playing, but you should have never used the neck pick up, It really killed the AC/DC tone. Made it sound like an Epiphone.

Not bad, but don't pick it, you can argue and say it's picked, but then it sounds like shit, only Angus can pick and make it sound good, hammering with one hand makes it a lot cleaner, and don't play on both pick-ups, only play on Treble, if your playing anything by AC-DC

@killingdog18 i practise 3 hours a day and i"m just playing an epiphone les paul custom black of 600 € and I am verry happy whit it i dont think you realy need a super excpensive guitar to practise .

Just keep on practising and you will get there no matter wich guitar you use look at Van Halen he played a guitar of 150 € and now they are selling it for 21000 € .

Great man, if you want to play it right for the intro, all you got to do is take ur right hand, with your index and your thumb, and hold down string e and g, and do pull offs, holding down the strings help the pull offs not interfere with the other strings, and its much less tiring, try it man, your solo is amazing by the way!

Angus does not use any effect pedals (except for maybe when they did those shows with the Rolling Stones i'm not sure) but as far as effects go Angus only uses the overdrive channel on his Marshall amp. Angus keeps a very clean sound to his guitar. So you're wrong. AC/DC does NOT use distortion.

@FlickOfTheSwitch83 I think that classifies as distortion. Well you are right about Angus having a fairly clean sound but he doesnt use an overdrive channel on his amp because it doesn't have one. His amp a marshall jtm45 is a one channel amp so he has to crank the amp to get that signature tone. And cranking the amp results in distortion.

Nope, just in the music video for the song it is. When played live, he clearly double picks with the pull-offs in between each note.

My suggestion for this video is to do just that, instead of tremolo strumming. It'll make it a lot cleaner.

And also jack, AC/DC NEVER uses dirty distortion, it's one of the "cleanest hard rock sounds" there are, it's all crunch.

The trick to doing the B string stuff is in the wrist.Most tend to move their arm up and down a bit,that causes most mistakes and skipping.
