  • Troy Davis case exemplifies why capital punishment needs to go,Troy guilt is not a certainty nor is his innocence and thus his guilt has clearly not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, this is a miscarriage of justice.

Unfortunately the federal gov has its hands tied behind its back as the constitution grants autonomy to the states on this issue and the fed cannot do anything without atleast 80% of the congress behind it, Fortunately most States in the union have abolished it independently

  • :(

  • Capitalism IS fascism..Unfortunately it seems more of my fellow Americans will have to suffer before we all realize this ...Only then will we Americans finally consider a more humane system that considers all our common humanity and respects our environment ,the only home we have..Only when we all realize that we only have each other and that the idea of "every man for himself " mentality is fundamentally flawed and will only continue to cause more harm than good..Only then will we change .

  • Very sad.

  • CAPIITALISM IS A CRIME!!!

  • Not a very good way to get your point across..

  • Maoists should die liek Davis

  • @yankydoodle83 ("... why not I point at Roosevelt for dropping the Hiroshima bomb?") : Because he didn't. Roosevelt died in April 1945. Truman was President in August 1945, and he ordered the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We'll never really know what FDR would have done.

  • A nobody's dead end of story.

  • Execution with EVIDENCE, not execution based on race!

  • Hopefully this brings more people together.

Its the States job to protect lives not take it. Especially not without 100% evidence.

I'll leave communism aside hear.... Even if i was the biggest pro-America and pro-capitalist person alive i doubt it would be able to support this.

  • Its sad to know this happened in my state.

  • @Gambit728 WAHHHH WAHHHHHHH

  • @Gambit728 Wow. You straight away point at Mao and take him as the epitome of communism, when you could have pointed at Nikita Khrushchev. Why not I point at Roosevelt for dropping the Hiroshima bomb, or George Washington for the genocide of 20 million Native Americans and the epitome of capitalism? And Mao didnt slaughter his countrymen. His disastrous economic policies did (not like it was intentional, but still atrocious)

  • @Gambit728 You mean aside form the fact it didn't happen? 55 million, that's different form the 30, 45, 70, 80, 100 million numbers you anti-communist retards usually make up. Your ignorant lie has already been debunked.

  • @MaoistRebelNews2 You know no one's buying your fake self-righteous indignation, right? You know everyone can tell you're just using this particular cop killer as an excuse to try and get the mass-murderers you worship off the hook, right? As if his execution, even if he was innocent, somehow changed the fact your idols were a bunch of genocidal fucks who killed millions just because they disagreed with their deranged fantasies.

  • everyone! remember this! real talk....

  • @ MaoistRebelNews2 I'm curious what's your opinion of the Young Turks as a news provider? Sure their personally pro capitalism but they seem to be without much bullshit.

  • @Sovietcomrade262 yea they love bashing conservatives, point out what capitalism does is bad, but defend capitalism to the death

  • The Supreme Court had a chance to stop the executed and they chose not to. It was unanimous. Every single justice now has blood on their hands. Not one person spoke up of this racist crime. Not even our black president. This is no democracy. Millions of voices mean nothing in our system. And to respond to a previous comment, I was at one of the thousands of rallies yesterday supporting the 'Free Troy Davis' movement. They occurred all across the world this past week. Where were you?

  • Corrupt courts...(btw i love the new format)

  • Im truly disgusted by what America did! This is just simply unacceptable...

  • Poor guy. This is pure bs. America is a fucking failure.

  • How can people support the death penalty when you cant even trust the government with money much less someones life. I don't agree with the death penalty at all except for say political reasons which are way different then this. This guy was also innocent by most peoples accounts so why aren't the arresting officers and prosecutor being put up on premeditated murder charges?

  • and i suppose this is not the first time it happens...

  • Even if he was guilty, the death penalty is a crime.

  • This is terrible...

  • IT'S A FUCKING DISGRACE!!!!

  • @BuecherFuerAlle I totally agree. Why are there not people out protesting against a innocent man being murdered? Am i just totally jaded or do most people these days only look out for themselves and nothing more? In my view people have become alot more apathetic in both America and Canada when it comes to this stuff. It's sad that when Vancouver lost the cup last year and half the city got ransacked but if the state puts someone to death there is not even a rock thrown.

  • The USA justice system has deastroyed many lives like the William Heirens case. Republican are OK with the state killing an innocent man, building more prisons, and Corporations taking over the natrual resources, but not with Universal health care, a stable wellfare system, universal education, ect.

  • Dustin Camp was a popular jock with a rich dad in Texas he murdered a teenage punk rocker called Brian Deneke

he was found guilty with sufficent evidence but they lowered the charge from 1st degree murder to volutary manslaughter

    the punishment?

    $10000 and 8 year probation

just because he was well loved in his community

    Justice?

  • The "justice" system in the U$ is bullshit.

  • @juliaisafilmbuff123 Ya however bad Canada's justice system is it is or should i say was much better then the US one. The US justice system is a industry that put's alot of cash in the pockets of everyone involved except the poor bastard up on trial. How can the justice system be run like a private industry?. It has nothing to do with who is innocent or guilty and everything to do with how much cash the injustice put's in pocket's of the DA, judge, prison owners, cops and so on and so on.

  • It sickens me, dirty cops at their best (or worst)

  • Women found guilty of murdering their own children are let off by paying the state.

Men guilty of far lesser crimes receive 20 years or more in prison.

This is "justice" in America. Wonderful.

  • This whole story made angry and sad. This story alone shows how wrong capital punishment is wrong and shows the evil, vicious, and lack of empathy side of humanity.

  • I was really hoping this case would be the one to get the supreme court to really, REALLY reconsider the legal status of the death penalty. It was a real downer

  • You're on your way Maoist, you are gonna be huge

  • I only regret that I have but one thumbs up for this video.

  • Powerful video.

  • Wow. Just wow. This is just disgusting.
