  • @skaterdarkis dental dams are for oral sex. You hold over ur partners muff then you munch

  • they still dont teach lgbt safe sex in school. They teach safe straight sex. I raised my hand in school to ask how to have safe lesbian sex and they changed the subject. And I go to a school where they say they are a very lgbtq accepting school but they really arent they told my girlfriend and i to break up like wtf.

  • Is this a boy or a girl?

  • They are waiting until marriage but they break it

  • I agree...teaching safe sex is a lot better. I know ppl that say

  • @jarhed15. It's ok that you're only 15. It means you still have time to learn to spell properly. As for the rubbish you talk, we can only hope you grow out of it.

  • God intended sex for a man and a woman who love each other but people these days only care about how THEY feel, and u probably already stopped reading this but if u havent listen up,when a man and woman meet at a bar and go have sex it may feel good but I DONT CARE who u r u feel dirty andf like crap, and thats bcuz u just gave up ur body for some guy who duznt care who ur name is and viceversa for guys, and homosexuality is wrong no matter who r or ur beliefs its wrong, and btw im only 15...so yea.

  • @jarhed15 if youre so holy heterosexual, why are you watching this video? hm?

  • @jarhed15 LOL

  • I agree with you jess.

  • your like the lesbian MacGyver

  • Great Info..always enjoy your videos...it doesn't hurt that your a cutie as well!

  • Hey. I'm a nursing student and we just did a major project on teaching sexual health. It's pretty important to note that of all FDA tested and approved condoms only 67% are effective against HIV. The HIV virus is 1/450 of the size of sperm so there are often holes in condoms that are plenty large enough for HIV but not for sperm so they're on the drug store shelves.

I'll be the last person to say "abstinence is the way" but just be careful who you sleep with. Testing = Awesome

  • ...lesbian

  • Thnk u! Yes safe sex 4 girls is a ned 2 no! i learnt the hard way :(:(

  • uh it tics me off. they really dont teach lgbtq safe ed in school

  • hahahahhahaah...Interesting tips...

Never heard of any of this shit, Lol..

But ill take your word for it...*winks*

  • Rated 5 stars. Great tips.

  • i spy tegan and sara gear. werd.

  • Thanks. You're right, we don't get any of this in school, but at least in the UK it's slightly better it seems. We get taught about safe straight sex and putting condoms on bananas and STDs and such things, and we get taught that gay people exist and not to be homophobic and stuff. We just don't get the two together. I suppose that's the purpose of the internet...

  • The holy trinity of lesbian sex are gloves, dental dams and condoms! Gloves can also be cut open to make your own dental dam. Gloves are good if you have rough hands or any cuts or damage to your cuticles. Condoms are a must for any shared toys...don't have to wash between partners, just put a fresh condom on.

  • virgin lesbian here... why do we need to use a dental dam for? LOL! Laugh all you want... I just don't get it.... WHy? How is that possible? I dunt get it

  • Thank you Jess. I come from an area where homosexuality is not condoned, and where abstinence is taught despite the blatant sexual activity of my peers. I have never heard of a dental dam and I thought that there was no way to have safe sex with another girl, so this takes a load off my shoulders.

    Just...thanks. :)

  • Thank you so much. This the only place that has been straight forward tome.

  • "dental band"?? wuldnt tht block the taste???????

  • I love the beaverbunch, but this I can't agree with. Safe sex.. really? Patience is a virtue. I really think it takes some serious maturity to 1. wait and 2. know that maybe it isn't the best thing to do for your body.

  • 'not over her mouth!" lol omg.

  • haha this video is awesome, great job jess. and yes i did laugh when u brought out the condom. thanks for the rad vid! :)

  • That tape makes your glasses extra nerdy :D

  • thats a good way of saying it.... you can promote abstinence but not ignorance so promote safe sex too.

    :D

i actually mentioned that while i was presenting a project about addressing teen pregnancy at this civics fair.

  • I love you too much. <3

  • Shit the last few seconds about getting drunk and all that.... i guess im fucked!

  • I kinda want a shirt that says "Screw Abstinence. (Pardon the pun.)" Would it be chill if I made one? Anyway.

A girl who lived on my floor last year says "soccer" in place of the word "sex" on a regular basis, so that's hilarious.

  • i want a shirt! if you make one :)

  • i hope she doesn't play soccer out on the open field...

  • wats the difference between gay and queer? Im not trying to be rude.Or is it the same thing? I dunno.

  • Queer is kind of an umbrella term for anything not typically heterosexual. Gay is more specific.

  • uhh..I'm still confused about the dental dam thing =/

  • same here

  • Soccer? LMAO I agree, screw abstinence.

  • right onnn

  • (3:25-3:30) "all you do is take it and place it over your partner *shakes head* not her mouth, dont put it over her mouth" LMAO! duh....

    geez jess your freaking funny.

  • Comment removed

  • SCREW ABSTINENCE!!! XD

    Did you just say soccer?

    You're awesome Jess. =D

  • just seems easier to get tested before

  • and getting tested would be my number one preventative. so i agree with you.

  • HIV isn't the only worry. You need to think about other "issues" such as Herpes...there is no getting rid of that and soooo not attractive!

  • i think herpes is hot.

  • That's what she said! ....Word to ya mutha!

  • theres still no sex ed for same sex couple in high schools unfortuantly. Its hell having to sit through classes being lectured on male-female intercourse. SO UNFAIR!

  • Man Jess I think it rocks that your sharing this kind of topic with people and kids my age. I mean I dont have a LGBT sex ed in my school and my 'Rents arnt going to help me with that, so you have helped a lot...thanks :)

  • Jess is absolutely gorgeous! =]

  • i heard that instead of using a dental dam or a condom, you can you plastic wrap (thinner = more pleasure). can someone tell me if using plastic wrap is just as effective as using a dental dam?

  • i honestly don't know... but regardless, if it's on the market as an sti preventative, i'm going with a dental dam/condom. although i will do that research and find out.

  • I have to say that this might have been the little extra push I needed to get tested today after quite awhile of chickening out.

    HIV negative. Woot.

  • nice work :) i'm proud of you.

  • I am 14 and not a lesbian but that dental band seems like it takes away all the pleasure! Im praticing abstinance until marrige though so I dont know lol

  • i think it's comparable to a condom... some people think it takes away pleasure, but i'd rather use a dental dam than be spreading syphilis.

  • So do you use a dental dam the entire time like with oral and everything? and if so does it tast nasty?

    haha

  • yeah you do and they come in flavors or plain

  • 4:02 thank you for being so understanding Jess =))

and..... is true SAFE sex is the best ......

  • Abstinence only ed is a big deal right now in our local schools because the abstinence groups get federal funding. The thing about this type of sex ed is that the end all is marriage. What if some members of the population CANNOT get married? How can I wait to have sex after marriage if I can't get married? It's the subject of a law suit right now. Thanks for the great vid Jess!!!

  • "not over her mouth" lol

    thats got to be scary

  • haha. "fluid soccer", really jess? :)

    i fucking love you.

  • HAHAH

  • Abstinence has a 95% failure rate. Which is why it's a policy endorsed by the Republican party.

  • HAHAHAH that made my day

  • That's funny as shit.

  • here in ohio safe sex is usually taught around 5th grade (which at the time i was going to a private religious school...and our lesson consisted of: "don't have sex til u're married, and only to produce children..." man was i in shock when i switched to a public school and puberty really kicked in. ;)

  • OMG I think you're the only person who's ever managed to make dental dams seem sexy to me ;)

  • I love your videos!

  • lol@ "I'm not a big fan." Me neither.

  • fuck it people just do share the love have fun just be safe.

    :)

  • thanks for showing the bit about the condom, they're cheaper than dental dams

  • not her mouth...dont put it over her mouth.

    lmao

  • In the school district I went to in Southwest Michigan they teach sex ed in "Life Skills" class in 7th grade. I still remember quite a bit of it, mostly it was talking about the different STD's and the symptoms and ways to avoid contracting them. The teacher DID touch a little bit on lgbt sex, but not really enough to matter

Even though they teach sex ed in Jr High though it didn't stop a lot of teens from getting pregnant. The alt school has a program for teen mom's...it's full, with daycare

  • I go to a public school in Australia. They teach sex ed, but only for straight couples. The only mention I got about the glbt community was

"One day you might have feelings for someone of the same sex. This is completely normal. It is probably just a phase."

God forbid you might actually be GAY

    idiot school.

  • Great Video as always!! Any Chance Mary B can do the weekend video's like Kade did before he become our Friday!! She would be a great addition, everyone would love her!!!

  • Agreed, agreed, agreed that everyone would love her- but Jess and Mary B also have FlawLes TV so this is also Jess's own seperate project.

Though as a relationship you become one it's still good to have seperate lives.

Though I would absolutely adore the Beaver Bunch even more then I already do if she was a part of it, I think it's good it's only Jess at the same time.

  • thanks heather, i do agree. mary and i work together, live together, and love each other quite a bit. you're right to say that having something that just belongs to us as an individual is absolutely necessary. ps. thanks for the flawles tv plug.

  • Computer $900

    Internet $45

Seeing you hold up a Comdom, Priceless

    hugs, ed

  • Soccer??? That totally just made my night better!!

Your too funny.. NO NOT OVER HER MOUTH!

    Thanks for the talk Jess!

  • hey! that was the least painful sex talk i've encountered. is that a flobots shirt?

  • two tickets to the gun show!! lol jk luv u jess ur so awesome and adorable

  • Dang. I hate dental dams at the dentist. They suck. Butttttt cool video. I guess as long as you are using it as a safe sex tool, it's better than getting your teeth cleaned!

  • well i guess im pretty screwed. i live in THE MOST conservative state in the union. oklahoma. im not gonna get and LGBTQ information here

  • i went to a catholic school, we were only taught "no sex till marriage". so when i came out i had to have meetings with the councellor and my religion classes became "gays go to hell" lol. i wonder if australia's schooling system is as backwards as north americas?

  • i've already bedazzled my hand basket :)

  • "if you can't talk about sex you shouldn't be having it' I heard that quote somewhere and I just thought I'd share that with you all

  • why are they called dental dams? brings up seriously weird and disturbing visuals in conjunction with safe sex - which is very important and should always always be practiced in order to prevent STDs. yes sirree.

loved the visual aides and your attempt at a g-rated explanation. also your T&S shirt(?) is awesome as well.

  • haha so ur much better then my health teacher i didnt learn a thign form her r a thing from her thanks for that tip about not put on my parnter mouth lol :D

  • "Soccer..." Ahaha. You just made hero status in my life.

More seriously, thanks for promoting this. Definitely someone to look up to...for those younger viewers out there reading this.

  • Great Video!!! Jess, you rock!

    Hugs, Sheri~

  • Good video! Thank you so much! :)

  • Another great idea is that, if someone uses toys, to use condoms with them. I knocks off a lot of cleanup hassles and it protects the next person who uses it. Also, with dental dams, I like to use the flavored condoms >D

  • my school does not teach sex ed but if they did i would sleep threw the whole thing,

and when my teacher would say, "Brooke wake up!" i would say, "im gay...i dont need to learn this. So until

i learn some LGBTQ material, im going back to sleep!"

  • Love your videos, Jess.... You should bring Mary as a guest on one of your Monday beaverbunch videos. I think you two are too damn funny.

  • and.. hey! in my school they teach us safe sex! even safe lgtb sex haha

    lucky me ;D

  • LOL "cover your parter... not her mouth.. don't put it over her mouth.." HAHAHA

omg this videos was so fun XD

  • lmfao!

    gReat vid!

  • You rock!!

The video was as funny as enlightening, and I laughed a lot.

  • Once again, you continue to maky my Monday. :D

    Hahaa I love the puns.

  • Good tip at the end :) you're right dont drink too much and go home with somebody definitely has to do with safe sex. Drunk people are very much less likely to have safe sex.

    Awesome video!

  • ok, dental dams are cool and all, but unfortunately, no one uses them. NO ONE!!!. It's always like, "pant pant pant oh god we need a dental dam. oh fuck it. dont stop."

  • i had sex ed this year

and i learned safe sex for every relationship, including homosexual

and i live in GEORGIA,U.S.A(one of the most conservative states in the country)

so obviously the world is getting somewhere

  • lol soccer, and puns ha that was pretty fuckn hilarious. good vid though, high schools really should teach safe sex practices. I remember when I took health, he just told us to not be stupid and use condoms it was kinda like the "talk" all over again hahaha

  • Yeah, at my school, safe sex for the lgbtq folks was not even remotely touched on.

  • just today in health class, my teacher who is barely five years older than us, went through about fifty different scenarios regaurding sex, safety, & getting tested for people in heterosexual relationships, but zero for those that fall in the LGBTQ category, not surprisingly.

and, like you said, all they do is preach abstinence; it's practice 100% safe, but teaching it is 100% ineffective, unnecessary, and unwise. so thanks for the awesome video and the education, jess.

  • "not her mouth"

    lmao.

when i first heard about dental damns i thought it was for kissing.

here's a question. how do you have safe sex scissor style?

  • to answer your question, the only practical way to have safe sex in that position, is to first get tested and make sure you're both "clean". i realize that this is not the first thing you want to do when in the middle of making out, but i do recommend holding off on that until you know for sure that you and your partner are clean.

  • im in high school and theres still no sex education for the LGBTQ Community in schools :(

  • i think only Catholic schools mainly still teach about abstinence. I think I'm the only lesbian who is 'waiting' fml. lol

  • they seriously don't teach LBGTTQ safe sex in high school there?

I graduated from school like three years ago and LBGTTQ safe sex was apart of our curriculum....and that's one reason i'm happy i'm canadian

so cheers on you for teaching it (so much better than the over weight sweaty/smelly gym teacher i had)

  • YOU WERE TAUGHT LGBT SAFE SEX? man i haven't even graduated yet and they didn't teach us. I live in freakin Toronto! i was kinda pissed about that... it seems really ignorant on the school systems part. among many other things.. i mean we have what.. pink day? and i got in trouble for not wearing pink? wtf? since when did wearing pink have to do with being a lesbian? hahaha ok im done :P

  • really? i grew up in one of the biggest hick towns in MB and i got LBGTTQ safe sex.... so weird.

  • man it would be nice if my school had aknowledged the lgbt community and talked about lgbt sex_thanx :]

  • you fuggin said soccer....YO FUCKIN HAD ME ROLLIN'

damn funny shit jess. funny shit!

  • soccer? LMAO!!!

  • Ha. Haha "Screw the abstinence."

    Hahaha

  • I'm a big believer in safe sex and the teaching of safe sex in schools. Its not like teaching abstinence has actually stopped the spread of diseases or teen pregnancy.

  • once? hahauhau...

  • Well said!!!!

  • I really enjoy watching your videos and how passionate you are on each and every subject.

  • haha. love the condom demo.

  • safe sex should be taught not only in school but at home.

i had that talk with my son, let me tell ya it was NOT easy. but in the long run i feel so happy i did so i know he learned about safe sex and he is now more comfortable talking to me about sex.

    xoexo

  • Um, um, um... amazing video!

I've never come across someone who's been able to talk so fluently about questions that are just handed to them a few hours before. You have a way with words and I know, because of you, atleast one person is going to be smarter about their sex life no matter the partner.

P.S. You've yet to do your video to inform us on how long you and Mary B have been together and all that jazz like hers.

    Lots of love,

    Heather!

  • Ya I just finished high school a year ago and they never tought this stuff either so sad.

  • great video Jess. I completely agree with you that schools need to teach safe sex, rather than abstinence. The teen pregnancy rate has increased in our school because kids just don't know the facts about having sex. They only know what they are told, which is...don't have sex. There is no way abstinence is going to work in a school of 3000 horny teenagers. like you said everyone likes sex.

  • They don't need to teach just boy-girl sex though because the LGBTQ community is getting bigger and they need to teach about that too. Even if it's left to a "if you're not comfortable hearing about this you are excused to leave" the information still needs to be put out there. They say [not sure how true it is anymore] the LGBTQ is the largest carrier of STD's and I don't think it would be if they tought about same sex relationships too.

  • i love you. please marry me.

  • i would but i think mary might be a little jealous.

  • mary shmary. =P

  • haha
