I got lucky when I finally beat Gill with Ken. I made him use Resurrection in the first round and I won. In the second round, both our life bars were low and he was charging up to do his Meteor Strike to finish me off, but I was standing right next to him and a couple Fierce punches ended it. Street Fighter 4 was SO unoriginal. Capcom got beyond lazy. Especially with the Street Fighter Alpha series. All they did was recycle characters from their old games. Street Fighter 3 has the best story mode and character roster in my opinion.

Are you serious? The Street Fighter Alpha series created a back story for the characters and introduced a LOT more of them. The game play was way different. The music was different. The art and pretty much everything was different. If it was composed of different characters it wouldn't have made sense. In case you didn't know, it takes place between the first game and Street Fighter 2. Ryu Ken Sagat and maybe Balrog are all from the original game. That wasn't lazy at all.

In my experience the CPS3 (Capcom's Arcade board) is the toughest version.

On the Dreamcast, I easily acquired undefeated streaks; same when I owned it later on in the PS2 "Street Figher Anniversary" version.

Personally, the CPS3 version of the game, now known as the MAME version, has been the toughest one, and yes I have played on all 3 versions. The CPS3 version is ruthless, as it is designed to relieve players of their money.

I'm not a fanatic video game player but I love street fighter... personally I think is one of the best fighting games ever, I've tried another ones like SNK games or the Neo Geo games.. and I don't like it..
