Using a jar , try only 1 cup of water , my noodles were done in about 35 min . From Here ,put noodles & milk etc, etc, in a pan to finish up cooking . ( not KD )
Have you tried making macaroni &cheese ? I have but no luck . As for this solar brown rice I gotta say thank you , as this the way I make it now after seeing this video that ya made , and it really does work very well .
@vwsuperbeetle72 - Never tried mac & cheese (gotta be KD?). Maybe I will try it now. I am happy that your rice turned out - that's what it's all about - helping others. Ken.
a bit easier way to enjoy Brown Rice... look for gogo rice - fully cooked in a bowl - at Whole Food market. ready in only 90 seconds... Quick, Easy and Healthier/Organic
No holes in the lid, I just left it "loose" on the jar - seemed the simplest way. Also, these jars are normally painted black on the outside with a clear strip left on the front for viewing. Painted would be much faster at cooking rice. Ken.

Are there holes in the lid of the jar? Where does the pressure go? Thanks
