her chanting is validated a 3rd place win. you all, quite obviously, are not educated in polynesian chanting/variations in types of oli. the judges knew what they were listening to and rewarded accordingly. it's evident you BEASTS: kekoa, e99, salena, know very little. after reading this, i congratulate you for acknowledging how little you know and in taking the first step towards understanding how much more you need to learn to contrive comments worth reading. i hope you're not hawaiian.

you know ALL styles of oli, interesting; and you've been to a marae and heard maori elder women do a welcome chant, interesting. if you did, you'd recognize striking similarities in pitch and style, indicating a cultural relationship, therefore validating, on one level, the style used in this dance. Girls are scored on the whole performance, not just an oli. Her dancing was far superior than the girls she was placed before. Your words are a bleeding squealing pig. you should be a judge... haha.
