I actually went to all those places when i went to visit Kamakura last spring. Especially Gokurakuji (the temple with the stone stairs) was quite something, It's too bad the gates closed at 5 pm, so I couldn't see Yuigahama beach in the dark from there.

It's a bummer you left out Enoshima. It features quite prominently in the end of both the manga and the anime.

When I watched ElfenLied it gave me a strange sad maybe even depressing feeling , and when I think of it now it still does the same with me , the OST especially the music box version of Lilium gave me this damn sad,depressing feeling ,it's hard to describe how this Anime makes people feel.

It kinda haunts you and lingers in your mind forever .

It wasn't an Anime I watched and said "Oh its shocking" then turned off the PC , No it really wasn't , I had to think lots of times about EVERY Chara.

Since the manga continuous on from the Anime. The likelyhood of Season 2 is good. However. there are so many keypoints that the anime did.. which will ruin the plot of the Manga. But that could be fixed. Also: I would like to hear nyuu-chan speak(in the manga, Lucy after 9 months? can speak :P she's also a good singer. hahaha I'd really like that but.. it's up to those producers. But I think anyone would obviously say Season 2 for elfen Lied. EVEN ME!

I mean, the manga already ended so beautifully, and the anime is already to different from it to go that way, and the ending to season 1 was kind of indecisive. It let the viewer decide Lucy's fate, and making season 2 would ruin that. Im not against the idea though, I'm just saying it would be hard to do without spoiling the series.

@12eebok actually I have already read the manga, and quite obviously the anime has not been accurate to the manga, so there is absolutely no issue then between the anime and the manga if they made a season 2, in fact, they could fill in more holes and throw in more of the epic parts from the manga such as *spoiler* the scene where Kaede grows her horns even farther and kicks some ass.

There's not going to be a second season. The manga was finished long ago and is too different for the Anime to continue on the same path. Nozomi never appeared, Kurama is dead, Kohta forgave Kaede(lucy/Nyu)and Kukizawa and the Organization(except for Arikawa)don't know a damn thing about Kohta and the Kaede house. There's no way they could continue.

The story takes place in Kanagawa by the coast. So since this place also exist in real world, then there has to be real elements too. Or then it wouldn't be Kanagawa itself.
