How is it even possible to draw all of those small lines??? :-D. I am glad that you recorded this because someone that is really jealous would have said that you traced this... Great job!
fuck, very nice sketch card... do you know how much it was worth? i collect these cards, and i think that would easily be over $200 if it ever reached ebay.
NAR, you are an amazing human being. Aside from your incredible artistic talents, you are an inspiration with your tireless positive attitude, and constant encouragement of others.
It is a privilege and an honor to know you, and I thank you greatly for your desire to make the world a better place. Rock on!
Your introduction is very meaningful and I think you are absolutely right, one shuld always push it's limits for his passion.
Working on my own drawing skills, is both hard labour and the greatest fun I can imagine. And that's what in my oppinion is happiness. Doing the things which bring you forward and amaze yourself and others. An undescribable feeling, seeing yourself grow and become what you always dreamt of.
I think you already reached that level of perfection.
@Flairbrusher2010 Hey thanks bro. :] I normally like to ink with my 107 quill nibs but I i needed to replace them when i did this clip. Even when I thinned the ink, the nib just wouldn't play nice. So tech pens to the rescue! ...lol.
You never cease to amaze me Nar. What an epic composition! Will you be gracing us mere mortals with another onslaught of amazing sketch cards in the future, or do you have something even more epic in store?
@SilentFright666 Thank you! :] I have something coming real soon. Well, it won't be just me. I'm bringing an army this time. Keep an eye out some time this June! ;]
@d3nikk Hey bro! =] Thanks for stopping by. The actual time it took to produce this card was just a little over 3 hours. I dragged a lot during the layout process as I tried really hard to create the composition. Thanks again pal. I hope to have more raw footage processed soon up in here. Rock on!
@d3nikk Actually scratch that. I just found the full raw footage and it was 4 hours and 53 minutes without the edits. Round that off to 5 hours. Hah, I knew I wasn't that fast! lol. :D
but my main question is how can you put something like that on paper straight out of your head.... i have no imagination and that's my problem....with drawing i'm ok
@d3nikk Honestly, I don't really have straight answer. But for me, it was pure hard practice for years. So long as its your main priority, something you desperately desire, you can totally do it. This is kind of contradicting but try and relinquish rules of reality and swiftly push your ideas as if you already know them inside out. No thinking. Just do. And then take a second look at your layout and see if you can make out a great composition. Then you can apply any fundamental rules needed. :)

@Jordiboy1974 hey Jordiboy! How are ya?? Thanks man I'm glad you liked it. :)
I didn't record my coloring process unfortunately. My camera set up isnt the best and it does tend to compete with me a whole lot.
Maybe for another card in the future. :)
