A friend that I work with. He had been meaning to work on it and never got around to it. Eventually he decided he just didn't have the time, so he sold it to me.

sounds like its not getting enough gas... could be a clogged fuel filter or something els.

It turned out to be a bad fuel pump, but I've been busy with other things and haven't gotten it replaced yet.
hehe..
i got close enough to the problem.
get it fixed... Geo Metro's are very good cars to have with the gas prices now in days.. not very fast cars but fun to drive.
sounds like the engine is bad
