Reductio ad Hitlerum, also argumentum ad Hitlerum, (Latin for "reduction to" and "argument to" and dog Latin for "Hitler" respectively) is an ad hominem or ad misericordiam argument, and is an informal fallacy. It is a fallacy of irrelevance where a conclusion is suggested based solely on something or someone's origin rather than its current meaning or context.

Oh my gosh, your dogs are so beautiful. I love how you love your little ones. I too love animals so much. I taught my little Bichon-Poodle mix to go potty on a potty pad. Two years later, he still uses it in the house. I take it with me whenever we go visiting others. He uses the outside grass to potty on too, but I love the pad. Great for those rainy, cold weather days. Poodles are one of the smartest dogs out of all the breeds.
You can always tell who is a good person! Anyone who loves animals as much as Michael, is okay in my book! I find people who don't like animals do not have compassion. Like Michael, I don't trust people who don't like dogs! They are so innocent!

We have to cut my dogs hair very short so he looks like a lab even though he is Lab-Poodle mix.
