@Sj1bby They've been driving this "track" flatout since it was first paved. This is where Dick Guldstrand developed his first corvette suspensions and the street racing that went on here in the 70's is part of the local lore. It fell out of activity in the 80's due to increased enforcement, but also due to the poor condition of the road surface and much increased commuter traffic. There is no way you could drive it at pace today, even this video had to be shot and edited from three days footage.
I'm the guy Docsab is referring too. It was in '97 or '98 I was driving on Mulholland approaching deadman's curve when Jay came flying around the corner halfway on my side of the road in a nice old Jaguar and caused me to swerve into the dirt in the minivan I was driving at the time. Jay showed up at Bob's Bitg Boy that next Friday night and apologized about the incident after I told him what he was driving, where we were and the exact time it happened. He knew then, it was me:) He's still nice.
He ran my friend James off the road once on Mulholland. My friend talked to him at Bob's about the mishap. No blows... but... Jay is a bit nutty behind the wheel at times.... and he gets away with it... because we all love him.
Time to put a camera on the back of the car.. CHeck out my vids for some examples....Very cool car... And Jay you can drive... Now take that McLarren out for a spin and do some videos Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssss
Really like the idea of this, also recognize a lot of stuff from Midnight Club: LA! Some roads look really shitty though, probably wouldn't be that much fun to drive on on coil-overs.
I luckily stumbled upon Jay while shooting this. I was cruising my Factory Five Cobra and Jay waved me in to check out my car!!!! I got to talk to him for a few minutes, very cool. Checkout my videos.

Lame. If he was being true he wouldn't be driving so damn slow. What a bore.

well a car that looks/sounds like that going 60-70 mph probably would be an instant cop magnet
