Whatever your opinion on man-made climate change, our reliability on oil, coal and other non-renewable sources is not decreasing fast enough. By definition, they'll run out. We are now using up the Earth's resources at a faster rate than they can be naturally replenished. The smaller these sources of energy get, the more we as peoples will fight over them. The costs of R&D on renewable energy sources is, and will be, huge, but the human cost of staying our current course will be far greater.

The earth is not warming up. It is cooling off. A small increase in CO2, mostly in the arctic, enhances plant and tree growth and therefor food production. The level is so low it is not harmful to people. Less than .038%. There is way more carbon dioxide in brands of soda. Global warming is a scam to raise taxes and make Al Gore rich. 1. CO2 levels have increased from about 250ppm in the pre-industrial age, to now, about 380-390ppm. That is a huge increase.

It is hard to believe because the science does not support it. From 1945 to 1970 the earth went through a huge cooling period. Everyone said it was going to be an ice age in 100 years and pollution was the cause. Then it started getting warmer. And they say the same thing going in the opposite direction. It has not gotten any warmer since 1998, infact it has gotten cooler. CO2 is not harmful. More heat has left the earth as CO2 levels rise.  Lioberals want to cut our energy for a hoax.
