how do you remove the head unit?

@oddzeee you gotta remove the centre console fascia, the one around the gear stick first then remove the screws under at the base of the fascia that houses the head unit, once you remove the screws it pulls of, its held in with clips

@Viny8u when is enough bass enough ?? the 13w3 is a tight and classy sub, it has great control and will handle low notes without a problem but if you want loud and only loud there other subs that will go louder and deeper for less $ but don't have near the control as the 13w3 in saying that I traded up to a 13w6, I love the 13w3 but the 13w6 is in another class, its louder tighter deeper and has mad control and has handled everything I have thrown at it so far, this baby delivers then some

@Viny8u yeah still got the alpine for now, new amp is on the list for upgrade. 10w6 never heard it but read nothing but good reviews on it, I think any size in the w6 range will put a smile on your face. If you got the $ then go JL they wont disappoint

hey im getting a 1500watt sub and i was woundering if i have to get a amp that is bigger than 1500watts for that? sorry if i sound stupid and thanks

My JL sub is rated at 400 watts RMS and my Alpine D class amp is rated at 600 Watts RMS

I'd rather have a bit more power in the amp than the sub and keep the gain turned down to match the sub that way the amp is sending clean power to the sub, by the way I have changed my sub box from the ported as shown in the clip to a sealed enclosure, Check if your sub is 1500 watts rms or total output, disregard the total output and choose your amp on the subs rms output, rms is lower than total output

yeew VS. worst thing with a VS and a sub, the rattles, always shovin foam in little spots to stop the vibrations
