  • Adam sure knows his shit.

  • The guy in the middle is not the least bit funny

  • Nice bong

  • Where do I put the yellow sativa?

  • The hackers were actually from germany and working for the russians.

  • @deathtamer666 basic math: it is possible for 50% to be under the average (of anything), it depends on how many people are over the average and how many under it, and by how much. But you get what he means anyway ..

  • only 1 in a 100 comment? you have to first realise that 50% of the population are of below average intelligence ( and before you criticise this, do some research!). of these most won't even bother to watch the rest of the video and will go back to the PS2 or whatever...

  • @julianmb2 Wouldn't the fact that 50% of the population is bellow average intelligence basically lower the average, making those that are bellow average become the average level of intelligence. Also, how do you define intelligence in this regard?

  • @julianmb2 50% of the population are of below average intelligence... You don't say? Wow. I learn something new every day. I hope that's the only stat where half of the population is below average. If there's any more where 50% is below average I might lose some faith in humanity.

  • thumbs up if you will make it you life mission to make a bong out of this

  • I can't let my mind go here, it reacts like a wiener in cold water.

  • @hangtime911 oh, you mean... it sucks back into your abdominal cavity... yeah, I get that one too

  • Where do I put the weed?

  • The reason this is impossible is because that tube part of the bottle would have to pass through the bulby part of the bottle without cutting a hole or anything; it would have to be made of a material able to pass through itself, and that doesn't exist.

  • but i am stoned

  • holy shit how did you get adam from mythbusters??????????????/

  • How it can't be theoretically imposible when practicaly is?

  • "stoney friends"? xD fuck yeah :D

  • WHAT.

  • the guy with the glasses looks familiar..... is that Bear Grills!!!!!

  • @thenunez96 are you kidding me?? Its Adam from Mythbusters

  • @mauriziotonelli00 lol im kidding

  • @thenunez96 lol

  • @speedster1101 nooooooo it dont work

  • wait, wat?

  • skip to 4.07 for the interesting part!

  • mythbuster?

  • Adam, oh Adam... you sully yourself associating with these idiots. This whole 4 minute segment, watching you and those 'tards talk and stare at your laptops, is insulting to intellect. Just like DIGG.

BTW, it's not a "nested" Klein bottle, it's simply a Klein Bottle. Nor is it theoretically impossible. So much stupidity here, it teh hurtz.

  • don't hang with them for too long adam!

  • actually, as i remember, it was not a russian hacker, but a german one...correct me if i am wrong.

  • @epicguy103 KGB!

  • @thirsokewl oh...

  • @speedster1101 Or just download a real browser besides IE 9 and get an ad blocker

  • at first i was like 'its some old scientific dude talking about a bottle' then i was like 'HOLY SHIZ ITS ADAM!' btw very interesting i might buy myself one :3

  • First he says they are impossible in the physical world, then says he has one! So which is it?

  • @negait It's possible for it to exist as a physical object. But It's impossible for the dimension in which it is referencing to exist in our dimension. It's just an object that represents a body in the form of a 2D object.

  • @negait

You can get something that looks kind of close to it. But you need a fourth dimension for a "pure" Klein bottle apparently.

  • Klein bottle bras!

  • The two guys on the right are idiots.

  • I came here from a cool TED talk, and now I am about to go from here to Sexy Bacon Bra.... oh I hang my head in shame...

  • Comment removed

  • Klein Bottle condoms....

  • like if you cane here from ted

  • Flying Spaghetti Monster FTW

  • They're messing up what's simple I think. O.o It's impossible in 3 dimensions but possible in 4 dimensions. Simple.

  • @raydredX Simple for you maybe. I don't really understand what you say. The forth dimension is time isn't it? I'm not great at maths.

  • @yaisum Forget about the number of a certain dimension that doesn't really matter. What matters is the amount .Also you should learn to distinguish Spacial and Time dimensions. Time is a special dimension that only moves in one direction, to the future.

As for spacial dimensions we interact only with three. But what if we could move "back and forth" through another dimension? If you good at math it's really easy to understand. You normally use (x,y,z) right?

  • @yaisum Just add an extra coordinate there, like w. And you locate points with (x,y,z,w). 4 coordinates->4 dimensions.

I found out this stuff on my own but there are two videos that hopefully you might find helpful if your interested in this stuff. "Cosmos - Carl Sagan - 4th Dimension " and "Fourth Spatial Dimension 101". I just youtubed 4th dimension but those videos seem nice. ;)

  • @raydredX Cool, thanks for that. Always keen to absorb more stuff. Like you say though, if you're good at maths it's really easy. I am...not...good at maths. But I'll check out the vids. Nice one.

  • @yaisum I really appreciate it that you find it interesting.

  • @raydredX Not at all. I think everyone should enjoy sponging knowledge from other people who know more than they do. Frankly, it baffles me why everyone is NOT like this, but that's life.

  • @raydredX Carl Sagan is ACE. I've never heard of him before, but the 1st video is really cool. When I have time, I'm going to watch everything he's done. I particularly like the way he sounds like Agent Smith. I think a true brilliance is shown when you are as intelligent and knowledgeable as he is and can still explain your concepts to the likes of me.

  • @yaisum I chekced the video myself and he's pretty awesome indeed.

  • Comment removed

  • Isn't he afraid that someone will fill that bottle up? That would be kind of nasty.

  • Klein bottle openers! Every math major at my school gets one of those after finishing their first year in the major.

  • this is so awkward... jeeze

  • best add eva

  • klein-bong

  • I don't see the impossibility with them...

  • @rmeyerson2 it would be impossible if they don't poke a hole in the side of the surface to get the neck inside the main body... the hole is defeating the purpose.. try making one without that hole! Anything is possible if you can break the rules to make it fit...

  • How is it theoretically impossible if people have them??

  • @nickelbake95 They're physically impossible in three dimensions because the surfaces actually have to intersect. The glass Klein bottles are just approximations in three dimensions. The people in the video make a mistake when they call Klein bottles theoretically impossible at first, but then they correct themselves by saying that a true Klein bottle is THEORETICALLY possible, but PHYSICALLY impossible.

  • @jeremychong Thanks!

  • the klein bottle almost symbolizes clifford stoll's character. from a distance, you'd think he's insane. but up close, he's a genius. and on the other side of the spectrum, you have an average politician. conceptually, they're geniuses. in practice, they're mentally incapable spoiled children with mistresses and a knack for psychopathic behavior. we ourselves have a knack for giving the child his candy and telling him he's "special". hence why politicians are well funded idiots. science rules.

  • i just watched for adam

  • Klein bottle bong!

  • Wait so it can only exsist mathematically, Can't exsist in the real world but can be bought online? *Head explodes*

  • Nope.

  • these guys are the worst. the guest is extremely polite and patient

  • @jylee2790 That's alcohol for you.

  • These guys have no idea how to treat a guest.

  • Get to the point, what use are these klein bottles? Theoretically impossible but physically possible, theoreptic anoglostic hypermode springs to mind.

  • Anyone want a smoke from my Klien Bong?

  • @TheAllBlackMan Where do you pack the bowl?

  • hey, its adam from mythbusters!

  • @tylerhan2000 Thanks caption obvious.

  • Yep, yep, right, got it.. Sounds like he doesn't give a fuck about it at all.

  • @speedster1101 Adblock Plus, no advertisements period.

  • Stuff your head up your arse, then pull your arsehole out of your mouth. Bingo, human klein bottle.

  • @speedster1101 Hit "ctrl W" to expand video.

  • @mrice102888 Trololol :D

  • I comment all the time :P

  • In the topologic hell the beer is packed in Klein's bottles.

  • 3:06 - fake laugh

  • welcome to dicknation lol :D wrong channel^^

  • @gamemasteranyday99 I'm not sure, But on the video I saw it said it was possible by jumping through dimensions, Here it is watch?v=uY_ZgAvXsuw

  • @gamemasteranyday99 I heard after I posted that that the 4th dimension has to do with time, Yourself in the fourth dimension would be a continuous line of you from the moment your born to the time you die, And jumping between dimensions is one of the theroies of time travel.

  • @1xDRCx wrong 4th dimension. He is talking about the 4th SPACIAL dimension, time is a TEMPORAL dimension. In our universe we have 3 spacial dimesions and 1 temporal one.

  • @Anthonyk312 More exactly, he is talking about a 3-manifold.

  • The blond guy is not at all funny.

It almost hurts to listen to him.

  • 50,000th viewer. Also, that fact that only one in one hundred comments is totally bull. Only 121 comments out of 50,000 views.

  • @john17972 ditto.

I can't fuckin stand that guy. I just watched it to the end because of Adam. And it is evident that Adam doesn't stand him either.

  • I wish the fat man wearing the shorts would shut the Fuq up. Nobody cares about his ugly hair with the high lites, or his bracelet, or his pudgy legs. If you are fat, all the gimmiks in the world will not make you look better.

  • myths busters.

  • There is always that guy in the group that is the dumbest guy and drags down the conversation but once a camera is in front of him he believes everyone must listen to him and becomes an attention whore. of course this wouldn't be insulting the guy with the red laptop because he probably dresses up in womens' cloths and calls himself a whore all the time in the bathroom and fucks his Klein bottle everyday.

  • is that the mythbusters guy?

  • @DennisNguyen88 Yeppidooda!

  • @DennisNguyen88 Yes, it's Adam.

  • i am the one in 100 to make this comment :3

  • WE LOVE YOU ADAM!!!

  • cookooos egg is a pretty good book

  • I love being intelligent enough to understand the jokes that they were exchanging. xD fucking hilarious!!!

  • ADAM!!!!Mybusters!

  • true

  • why the hair on the blonde guy??? i thought 10 year old boys had hair like that...is he 10??

  • @joikee dont be so judegmental

  • Is it possible for something to be physically possible but not theoretically possible? Well...in theory...

  • eyyyyyyy its adam savage!!

  • I have that iMac

  • Clifford Stoll also predicted that the internet was a load of crap and was all hype back in the 90s. He thought online shopping would never succeed because it was missing a fundemental element: salespeople. What an idiot.

  • Wait wtf is this a sales add for klein bottles?

  • "Did you know only 1 in 100 commment?" I think your numbers are off

  • those guys r tools esp the Blonde

  • @diggnation What would happen if you put liquid in a klien bottle?

  • ..boring...

  • The Cuckoo's Egg is one of my favorite books!

  • beavis and butthead ride again....is this a series that they introduce? Thank god I caught only this little clip....

  • so herpy i derped srsly stfu gtfo go fuck self

  • keep clicking 1:12

  • thats my last name....does that mean i get it for free

  • ladies -

    i'm a serial killer

    come round mine

i'll save you from a fate worse than death.

  • Adam's like a nerdy James Hetfield

  • I want a Klein bong.

  • except for Adam it was the biggest nerd party ever

  • Poor Adam Savage was internally suffering the whole time... those two hosts are trying so hard to pretend they know what they're talking about.

  • At 3:31 the blonde guy (whose nuts apparently haven't descended yet) squeaks, "how about a Klein bottle bottle opener?" Dude. Way ahead of ya. bathsheba com slash math slash klein

  • Spikey haired red laptop boys voice has yet to break

  • that laptop is epic....

  • @reepa1984 Reepa these are not true klein bottles, just the closest physical form that is possible to make. The part of the bottle that passes through itself would need to do so in the 4th dimension to make it a true klein bottle. These bottles are just interesting artwork for people who like science.

  • guy wearing shorts reminds me of Nick Shwardson :D

  • @reepa1984 In its "full" form, that bottle would have had no volume, and would not be able to hold any substance within it.

  • Awesome stuff.... if you have the mind to appreciate it that is. Gonna try and get one...or at least that hat.

  • If you watched a few episodes of diggnation, you'd like these guys...

  • why is the guy from mythbusters hanging out with them lol?

  • i love how he keeps making lame jokes while adam just keeps rollin' on with his science train

  • now that's a shitty show concept.

  • those two guys are an insult to science and whatever great mind happens to go on that show. damn i hate people.

  • i think it's funny how they sit around with a computer looking at the same link

  • I want to meet Adam Savage and Jamie Hinerman so much but cant coz i live in Australia :/

  • adam si legend

  • 18 people fell victim to their subconscious's logical conclusion that 2 of the 3 people in this video are fucking impaired.

  • yay ADAM :D

  • laptops on the lap mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm get a real job

  • @jesusonamotorbike retard

  • Klein bottles are not possible in three dimensions, much like a mobius strip is not possible in 2 dimensions.

In the 2nd dimension, a being would experience a mobius strip as an "O", and at one point, the inner side, and outer side would intersect. In the 3rd dimension, the mobius strip has no intersection, much like a Klein bottle would have no intersection in the 4th dimension. The glass ones you can buy are only crude representations.

  • @zach118 Thanks!

  • woot adam

  • dude with the red laptop is a flaming douche bag butt plugger

  • I KNEW the mythbusters guy had to blaze up to think of the craziest shit on that show

  • Mythbusters is awesome!!!!!!

  • This bottle could make a great bong!

  • For those who don't get why its "physically impossible": a "real" Klein bottle has no self-intersections, because it "lives" in 4 dimensions. Since our universe doesn't have 4 dimensions available, we can't make one in real life. However, we can project that 4-dimensional Klein into 3 dimensions (kind of like how we can draw a 3-dimensional cube on 2-dimensional paper), but then it will intersect itself, the same way the edges of a cube will intersect when drawn on a flat sheet of paper.

  • @daofeishi what if they make a glass Klein bottle? you can find those any time you search for them... and that makes it not impossible at all to make

  • @19crash97 Glass Klein bottles aren't really Klein bottles, the same way a drawing of a cube isn't a cube.

  • @19crash97 the glass klein bottles arent "real" klein bottles, the neck going through the large part isnt supposed to have a hole, making it physically impossible since in the real world that would add an extra edge, mathematically though, it is possible

  • @daofeishi i understand everything except the last part about cube edges intersecting...

  • @daofeishi i cried, this paragraph made me cry.

  • @daofeishi In the three dimensions we have there is height, length, and width, but what are the theories about what the fourth dimension is?

  • @1xDRCx In mathematics, "dimension" is just a measure of how many coordinates is needed to describe a system. A 4-dimensional space is just the collection of coordinates of the form (a,b,c,d), and nothing else. For example, (1,5,2,1) would be a point in this 4-dimensional space. Mathematicians talk about objects like that all the time, without referring to whether the object is realizable in real life.

  • @1xDRCx However, higher-dimensional spaces happen to be very useful in describing the world, but perhaps not in a way you are used to describe things. Think about a solid rod that can move through space. How many variables are needed to describe its position? The answer is 5: three to define the position of the midpoint, and two more to define the rotation and inclination. Therefore, the mathematical object that describes the position of the rod is 5-dimensional(!)

  • they dont say shit, the faggy dude just makes a pathetic attempt at humor

  • oh god.. american humor. Wont they just shut the hell up.

  • HEEEEEY THERE'S THAT THING I BOUGHT HERP DERP
