Every good and successful company has a contingency plan in case of a accident or a cease to their normal operations. I guess BP failed to look at any possibility of any accident happening

i am a seaman.. US coastguard is so strict to any ship entering US territory if they will see any piece of plastic, even if stowed but in the "unproper" area. they put huge charges on us. but see what are you doing with your ecosystem yourselves. this double standars sucks. you can make shit everywhere when others should care. russia is more biurocratic country they require even to close all sewage and vashing water pipes but when entering the northern ports all coast is in oil that sucks too
