For both,... it;s a trial ...also a learning experience.
The chaos of differing forces and energies allow us to become receptive and to grow and evolve, and maybe one day to become a Master (...of ourselves). Both students will be better from the experience...and they may well become friends.
They're both good I don't know what some people are looking at. It is only a competition where they can use certain skills, which is why neither one looks tired. They are not using a full range of skills. I thought the younger gentleman held his own very well against the obviously more experienced man. These tournaments are not about who "loses" or "wins," because each man will take something more valuable than a prize home with him.
silat is very good, only for malay, because they had very soft fighting movement, once they strike or lock, it be the end of you.. but.. it seem both of this guys are dancing in the floor. not like fighting. they are not the expert.

If there is even Tai Chi chuan involved here, it is not at a very high level, too much resistance (LI, clumsy force).
