Hey advisor101. . .this is Syracuse University in New York State - Crouse Auditorium. The organ is a Holtkamp rebuild of an Estey rebuild of the original 19th-century Roosevelt tracker-action organ. It's about 50 years old now (+/-) and a fine instrument.
TROMBONES?!?!?! BACH??!?!?! THAT'S what I thought!!! Then I listened. It was pretty freakin' good, people! Okay, so it was slower than usual, but it had to be: they're trombones, AND it was very clear! I am VERY impressed. Kudos!
Brilliant. Absolutely BRILLIANT.

Thank you! I can see that most of the organ is unenclosed so that must mean its incredibly loud!
Thanks for taking the time to tell me.

How exactly do you do a trill on a trombone...I'm a violinist so I'm clueless about non-string instruments lol
twiddle7125 3 years ago
Most of the time its what's called lip trills, Takes a whole lot of practice to get it down.
Shane9109 3 years ago
isn't it flutter tongueing? not lip trill
FragariaKMS 3 years ago
No, that's different. Flutter tonguing stays on one note, while a trill goes between two notes.
