  • Ummm, ok, well, i was looking for Little Fugue in a flute choir... so this was um interesting....

  • It sounds great but u should have used more than just trombones, it makes it sound weird.

  • no, i disagree

  • well then, we have a problem don't we.

  • read the info.... it says summer TROMBONE workshop.

  • Really nice arrangement, by the way where is this venue? I've seen that organ somewhere before.

  • Hey advisor101. . .this is Syracuse University in New York State - Crouse Auditorium. The organ is a Holtkamp rebuild of an Estey rebuild of the original 19th-century Roosevelt tracker-action organ. It's about 50 years old now (+/-) and a fine instrument.

  • Thank you! I can see that most of the organ is unenclosed so that must mean its incredibly loud!

Thanks for taking the time to tell me.

  • Nice Bass...

  • How exactly do you do a trill on a trombone...I'm a violinist so I'm clueless about non-string instruments lol

  • Most of the time its what's called lip trills, Takes a whole lot of practice to get it down.

  • isn't it flutter tongueing? not lip trill

  • No, that's different. Flutter tonguing stays on one note, while a trill goes between two notes.

  • Wow! very impressive..Thanks for putting this on "youtube" Being a retired professional horn player, I enjoyed your performance...

  • Finally respect for the trombone

  • LOL Yes finally respect for the ol´ tromb.

  • TROMBONES?!?!?! BACH??!?!?! THAT'S what I thought!!! Then I listened. It was pretty freakin' good, people! Okay, so it was slower than usual, but it had to be: they're trombones, AND it was very clear! I am VERY impressed. Kudos!

  • No. . .that is about the speed you need to play it at. . .people rush this piece way too often

  • great piece, greatest composer

  • The tones are so clear they sound like french horns. Nice, thanks for uploading!

  • this looks like the crouse building at SU

  • ıt cant so slowly
