  • look on ebay. you can get a fully programed ECM for $200 shipped. or $125 to get yours fixed. really easy to install too. 4 or 5 bolts and to plugs. Ebay seller autocomputerexchange-ace

  • I had a look at the circuit diagrams for related to these sensors.

It seems they are all (or most of them) supplied by the 5V supply, which shows up as (P1496 5 Volt supply output too low).

It's likely that the 5V regulator within the control module has blown. If you still have the old module you could check it out!

  • Im the OP of this vid! About the BAD mechanic! I did go to B.A.R. and talked to BAR about my problem with mechanic. THEY FIXED THEM!!!!! I received $178 refund from that PRICK Mechanic. So the labor (incl towing) was about $170. + $310 ECM (incl tax) = about $480

  • Im the poster of this vid. It is INDEED the ECM. I had taken it to a shop to comfirm this. Where they did complete testing. And to be sure that it was not something else thats bad that possibly shorted out the ECM.

Well anyway. The ECM was $310 total at Kragan auto parts. And $350 (incl towing) to put it on... PRICKS those mechanics are. I knew from start it was ECM. But wanted to make sure. And man, I paid the price! BUT anyway, it was $650 total. Dealer wanted $1000+ for just the part!
