  • I have lost count of the amount of times I hve watched this scetch, and every time I still find it funny, it is the best of all time

  • Brilliant, I know the feeling Kenny my MAN, such is LIFE??????

  • the whole lot hope you enjoy

  • Does anyone know who plays Carla?

  • @GitarStu That would be Anna Dawson, who was also on THE BENNY HILL SHOW during its last years (she first appeared on THE BENNY HILL SHOW in 1975, most notably the sketch "Great Mysteries with Orson Buggy: The Catch" as the hotel manager). Contrary to popular belief, I found Ms. Dawson to be one of the best older actresses who ever worked on THE BENNY HILL SHOW, especially the butcher shop sketch (Norfolk turkey, anyone?); she certainly is funny here, especially her delivery!

  • @Kepley100 Wow! Thanks for all that information! That was awesome. Much appreciated!

She really made Carla. She wasn't quite as "voluptuous" as the cartoon version, but she did do a great job ;)

  • This reminds me a bit of George Burns and Gracie Allen routines from the 1940's; great banter between the two characters!

  • Carla is a young George Costanza's mum.

  • thanks for this! I have the DVD but don't know how to take clips off it - this saves me skipping and missing! ta!

  • There will never be humour like this this again, reminds me of Harrit Harmon

  • That's brilliant... glad i got reminded about this... havent seen this stuff for ages :-)
