  • Frog it's an traditional animation.

  • nothing beats traditional animation :)

  • ....wheres the rest? is it on youthube?

  • Yes you can find the rest by clicking on daytimesky2000 on the side there. :-)

  • Ok The voice of the frog sounds really familiar did he do a muppet voice ??

  • did you watch the swan princess? He sounds like the frog from that movie...like exactly

  • All this rubbish of racism, "this film will suck," etc.

As an older Disney fan, I'm actually rejoicing the return of these sorts of movies. I bet that more OLDER fans will go see this, then maybe the company will try to appeal to us more XD

  • woohooz!! Somebody finally said it! Traditional 2D Animation rocks, and its what started it all so why not love it?

  • The male host on 0:27: "Tiana is not sitting around waiting for her Prince to come."

Kelsey (the female host): "Which is a good thing, cause the Prince has been turned into a Frog". Ha ha

    I love the score.

  • Putting Miley for Jonas Sisters in this movie would only RUIN Disney even MORE!

What the hell were you thinking?

    Shauuuun unto you! >:o

  • and it would show disney cant do one thing without including a disney star. and it make the film look like a "cheap movie like HSM" (like someone said) and it would drive away classic Disney fans.

  • "and it would show disney cant do one thing without including a disney star"

That's exactly what i hate about disney's promotion for their movies lately.

  • i really trustfully hope they don't put pop people in disney movies like these ,they are to special to be ruined by little children singers :{

and i can see alot of people agree

  • I'm glad Disney is going back to 2d, it's traditional roots. This movie looks soo beautiful. This movie better win an academy award like the Beauty and the Beast.

  • Anika Noni Rose linked this video on her MySpace. :)

  • I say let the artists and creators experiment and express a new ways to think of cultures and people. Disney has covered many other races, so why complain about this one?

And honestly, does it really even matter?

  • ;D you're so right, it doesn't matter.

Al these people just want something to talk about..;s

  • Let them complain. I just hope disney won't get over-compromised in the creativity of the story and characters just because they want to please everybody. To have a movie be successful, sometimes it's necessary to take risks and be bold, just like what they did with the little mermaid.

  • I wonder how it will do in the box office. I know I want to see it, and so does my sister and her friends, but we don't speak for the whole country lol

I just hope the marketing is as strong for this as it was for The Lion King

  • I wonder that too. Based on the poor performance of their last few 2D features, this one needs a GENIUS marketing to have any tiny shot at becoming a box office hit. And I hope this time it's not marketed by the same people who did the marketing for Bolt, on which they did a horrible job (and it's 3D!). I believe if Disney is smart enough they should've fired those people long ago and hired people who really know how to market a film, particularly an animated film. If not, then I'm very worried.

  • A great idea would be to have some of the more popular (obviously popular like Jonas or Cyrus, haha) to sing a song about/for the movie like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey did for Prince of Egypt. Miley singing for her own movie was the best marketing I had seen from Disney in years,

but somehow I doubt the team will even consider doing this. You are right, marketing has gone WAY down as if they don't want their own company to succeed.

  • No offense (and I say this with greatest respect), but HELL NO to the idea of having either Cyrus or Jonas Brothers sing the song. (Argh!) IMHO not only will it NOT help the movie, it will degrade it and make it look cheap like HSM (again no offense). The reason why having Whitney and Mariah sing for Prince of the Egypt worked is because they were both very phonemonal and well-respected singers in the industry. And it worked for Miley to sing for her movie is because, well, it's her movie!

  • And since this movie marks the return of the classic 2D animation, I think (as part of the promotion) they should do what they did in the early 90's - hire big names like Celine Dion (or Leona Lewis, to keep it current) who can really REALLY sing instead of some teeny tweeny disney stars. To have any slightest shot at being successful at the box office, this movie needs to appeal to a wider audience, not just kids and pre-teens.

  • Oh, none taken! I agree, but their popularity would be more than enough to push the movie since the target audience is infatuated with them, you know?

  • I know what you mean, but it's still a bad idea to me. Besides I doubt featuring a popular Disney star in a supposedly kid's film will guarantee a financial success. I mean look at Bolt. It had Miley Cyrus yet it still underperformed at the box office. Either she's not that popular or the movie was just not appealing enough (or it could be both). Whatever it is, this shows the popularity of a star is clearly NOT enough to push a movie (if only it were that simple). It takes so much more!

  • The thing is, a good cartoon needs nice voices not just famous people. If you notice, a lot of famous people can actually have very irritating voices. Miley certainly does.

  • Jonas and Cyrus will only help this movie for people who are a fan of pop music, which are mainly per-teen/teenage girls, and if they did use one of them two, it would really push away the older Disney fans who grew up with Disney films like Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast Lion King ect. So pop in every new Disney film is a big no no.

  • yes:)

  • It's stupid to compare Whitney and Mariah to Miley, I mean it looks like if these disney teeny stars are as good as the big ones .

  • I know. I was only comparing star power and I shouldn't have. You are right it's just stupid.

  • OHH, I'M SO HAPPY!!! I want to work at the Animation Studio more than anything and I'm SO excited for this movie!

  • Why are people making such a big deal over Tiana being black? No one complained when Ariel was a mermaid, or when Jasmine was Arabian, or when Mulan was Chinese, or when Cinderella was British (I THINK she was British). So what happened? Did the entire viewing world suddenly go racist?

  • Actually, people apparently *did* whine over Jasmine (they claimed the "good guys" had anglo-american features). Pocahontas too. What can you do?

  • Wow. People are such whiners. Why can't people just enjoy the movies without making a racial speculation of some kind? IT'S DISNEY!!!

  • Oh well, at least the kids don't worry about that stuff. They just enjoyed the other movies and shall enjoy this one. :)

  • My sentiments exactly!

  • why? whats wrong with arabian girls, im arabian!

you dont see us going on complaining on english girls !!!!!!

good why cant ppl just except 1 another

  • Nothing wrong with it at all. People are ridiculous about the silliest stuff. I never worried about that when I watched "Aladin" and I'm sure *no* child who's watched it has! It's one of those adults-getting-upset-over-kids-stuff things. Just like no kid's going to care that Tiana's African American or wonder what ethnicity Naveen is.

MST3K got it right: Remember it's just a show, we should really just relax.

  • First it's Tiana, and now they're turning on Prince Naveen, saying that he's too white or why can't the princess marry a black prince and blah blah blah! Gosh those people just won't shut up!

  • I know, right?! People need to stop dragging racist views into a KIDS MOVIE. The kids aren't going to notice or care, so why are the adults getting all controvercial about it?

"It's because of Obama." No it's not. Animation takes time. Like 4-5 YEARS of time. Which means this movie started out in '04, before Obama's presidency. And even if it WAS, they should just shut up, sit back, and if they're going to complain, then DON'T SEE IT. No one's forcing them to see it.

  • I made a big deal about it.

I mean, it's one of the most ridiculous things Disney has done. I mean, mermaids have contributed nothing to this society, and yet THEY could be a princess?! Nuh uh.

  • Exscuse me, but being 1/9th Merperson, I found your comment offensive. Us Merpeople are the reason the ocean stays as nifty as possible. Without us, there would be no wind, waves, fish, etc. And you're saying we don't contribute to society? BS.

  • ?

Fish? You- you think there wouldn't be any fish without YOU!!?!!?

Woah there... ehem, but I think its us fish who created YOU!! Mother Catfish fell in love with a human infant... she then gave birth to the first merbaby, King Tritan. He used his magic to created many other merpersons. He is an EVIL man. He took away all fish's rights and made us work for him and his petty little kingdom. Imagine what we go through each day. >:l

  • I do indeed. Your dated monarchy kingdom (or should I say ANARCHY) kingdom, like SallySonic said, is run by a prejiduce king who would squash the amibitions of his own daughter to null his own fears of outsiders. Evil eeevvviiillll man.

But it is not your fault. Being 1/9 Merperson, you could spread the truth to your ancestors, and tell them that they don't have to put up with a ruler that holds them back. FIGHT THE SEAPOWER!!!!!!

  • Its a movie..omg..:P

  • Mermaids are serious business.

Here's to Disney's return to form, lord knows it was overdue.

  • Naveen and Tiana are cute as frogs. i don't get the complaints, lol.

  • I understand the complaint. They make other Disney princess and princes stay human the whole movie, but a few minutes into this one, the main characters are frogs. Some find it offensive *shrugs*

but I agree with you! They are very cute frogs that are charming and charismatic ^^..they turn back into people anyway right? Or maybe its gonna be like Shrek lol

  • the next princess they should work on is a princess with autism.

trust me. it will change the world.

  • they did that already, it was called "Snow White"

  • LOL

  • such a perfect response hahahaha

  • I agree

  • haha u see how they save themselves... "the new type of disney heroine..." and the fact that she's idk BLAAAAACK! lol

  • I'm excited beyond belief! Tiana looks absolutely and Naveen looks hot!

    I can't wait until December 11!

  • Thank God that thier making a 2d movie again.

  • Ahhh!!! I'm soo excited! I just know this will become a new favourite of mine! =]

Thanks for uploading, I would never have seen this is if someone hadnt uploaded it =D

  • You're welcome! Isn't this fun? WOW, I can't wait until I can see this movie, I'm so excited!

  • Thank you very much!!!

  • where are parts 2,3, and 4?

    btw nice.

  • I have uploaded the complete "Princess and the Frog Top Secret Tour on YouTube. Just click on the

    "More From: daytimesky2000"

on the side there and it will show you all my uploads->

  • Thanks for uploading! :)

I thought it was weird they called her "a new kind of Disney heroine" for "not waiting for her prince to come.", when that hasn't been new for quite a while. ;)

  • I agree, I was like, "What?" Because Jasmine and Mulan were TOTALLY waiting for their princes to come. Mmm-hmmm.

  • I never really thought Mulan was waiting for her 'prince' to come. Her movie is all about her going off to war, the fact that she fell in love in the process is just what happened, its not like the whole movie was about her searching for love, not like Ariel or Jasmine.

  • @silverwingedwitch In fact, she really just kinda crushed on Shang...what's so cool about her is that she didn't really fall head over heels in love with him. (at least...not in the first movie...but the sequel doesn't count anyways.)

Honestly, a large majority of disney heroines in the 90's were pretty independent.

  • well Jasmine was more along the lines of wanting princes to go away...she was looking for love but she had enough with princes.....and Ariel wasn't really looking for love but adventure but then she saw Eric and her adventure became love

  • Jasmine wasn't searching for love, she wanted freedom. and to be able to marry who she wanted, not just a prince.
