Oh, this inauguration! I left the country for my semester abroad on January 19th, and I had been in London just a few hours when the address occurred. My friend Becca and I were really excited about it, and we stayed up to watch it. Unfortunately by the time it came on, I was so tired that I kept nodding off during the speech. After it was over I got in bed at my hostel and slept for 11 hours with my jacket and shoes still on. So I wish I had been more cognizant but I have this nice story?

Before anyone states Obama is not eligible to be president due to his citiznenship, knkow what the Constitution actually says. It states that the requirements for president is being a US citizen for life. Citizenship is inherited at birth, and since his mother was born on a military base in the US, Obama has been an American citizen all his life. The belief that a president had to be born on American soil was due to the law letting all people born on American soil be American citizens.
