This role garnered her a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2006, and she also was nominated for an Emmy Award and a SAG Award for Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series.

This program needed more time. ABC, you blew it! It took MASH over a year to develop it's following. Timing was bad with The West Wing on TV at the same time. Perhaps cable or another network will find some way of trying to put this program back on. We could allow for the passing of time. Let's say she's in her second term. At least we may have 4 more years.

Great, very underrated show, I recently watched it on DVD. Geena Davis was briliant, just as the great Donald Sutherland.
