...funny how someone can rate this as a "poor comment" but truth of the matter is, is if the Commodores never wrote this song... there would be no version for Heather and Smokie to remake... person must not realize that a lot of "new Christian songs" are just remakes of older work done by old school artist. i'm and old schooler myself. i think this version is better because of the wonderful harmonizing. pound for pound, Smokie Norful can out-sing any of the Commodores. that doesn't diminish their contribution to Christian music. there have been lots of songwriters who sang their own music and a different artist sang it better. i appreciate the nostalgia, but let's keep it real. peace
