  • One of the best guitarist of the world. A legend.

  • Fantastic performance !

  • angels sing!

  • Way better than the 88 concert I went to in Vancouver!!!

  • my favorite version.. although someone v might not agree X)

  • Nice version. doesn't move like the original. this is too rushed, too smooth, not dark enough. but it's ok. well, this isn't Cream, afterall. but it's ok.

  • Eric Clapton e Phil Collins... nao precisa dizer mais nada... Sensacional!!!!!

  • @andre41218 Verdade!

  • Yes, you are right, he plays it differently, sorry if I do not spell some words corect (I am from Croatia). Ock, he plays intro from Gm and so on it goes..., verse goes from a diferent key also, it goes from Dm, and then then the chorus goes from C ;) Greetings from Croatia

  • Does he play this song in a differant way from when he was in Cream? I've got a tab book, The cream of Cream, which looks to be differant from the way he is playing here. Anybody know?

  • he nailed that shit like a cheap prostitute. amazing version.

  • geeez, I had to fav 3 versions of White Room on yt xD love the song and love Erics "rawr" voice

  • One of the original R&R/guitar player heroes!

  • Damn. That first chord hit me like a train. Great wah-wah sound.

  • @gpair007 nothing compared to the old stuff. Clapton sold out

  • @gpair007

I agree!! Love this version of the song.

  • PHIL COLLINS! Aside from that I have nothing to say

  • wow, whos the singer here, great performance, I like, normally jack bruce would sing this/wynn ^5

  • I keep giving post-Cream Clapton another chance, and every time I hear his playing after Cream/Blind Faith, .......sorry all I hear is a bunch of notes thrown together rather than the BRILLIANT phrasing he did in Cream/Blind Faith days.

He WAS a brilliant slowhand blues player with great sense of tone. It's as if he handed that mantle to David Gilmour, after Blind Faith. He's been a huge YAWN ever since

  • @gitlover10 you should listen to him do some solos to layla man, i think he still has it. sure he isn't on for every song, but i don't think any guitarist ever is...the talent is definitely still there

  • @gitlover10 Everybody hates a winner.

  • Greg Philliganes on Keys, toured with Michael Jackson on Bad and Dangerous tours, legend.

  • Best version ever, what a solo

  • I fucking LOVE this song :D

  • @EthanHChrist

It is his best version ever!!!!!!

  • what a solo!!!

  • emiel4sma

You are right, this was filmed in 1986

  • i LLOOVVEE this song.

  • People forget sometimes theough all the superstardom and what not , that Phil Collins is a good drummer . . .

  • The bass player is Nathan East, he toured a lot with Clapton.

And it must be noted: he rocks as well.

Thanks, ehmtube! This musician loves youtube and people like you who make it so great a place to come to!

  • the man on the keys is a very good singer

and Clapton is just Better than god

    Clapton exsist

  • Yep, that is P. Collins on drums. Gotta pay his bills, singing, playing drums with/for Genesis or side gigs for back-up drumming for another band when Genesis was off tour. This must have been before Phill became lead singer for Genesis.

  • no,, it was at the time of No jacket required I think. This is from 1986, Phil took over leadvocals for Genesis at the end of the 70's

  • That must be Phil Collins on drums. Weird.
