  • I am so sick of hearing "his feet were not set! It's a block!". For crying out loud, the defenders feet do not have to planted. The defender must obtain legal guarding position first and then is allowed to move laterally and backwards. If we follow the "rule" of being set, then if a defender was walking backwards and the ball carrier plows threw the defender, you're telling me that it is a block? Please. The defender has just as much right as the ball carrier does.

  • MY DAD NCAA REF: ITS A BLOCK HIS FEET WERE NOT SET AND INSIDE RESCRICTED CIRCLE

  • Good call he wasn't square to the attacker and the offensive player made contact with the defenders arm

  • @AATNO I am sorry but where in the rule book does it say you have to be square to the defender to take a charge? This is a bad call.

  • charge for sure!
