I downloaded half life cs.fgd and cstrike.wad but still when i choose texture i only get somewhere about 20 different types o textures, whats the problem?????

ok i have a problem when i try to start my map. it compiled with no errors, but when i try to start cs and then start my map it gives a "fatal error"

@ljlj67 "CSTR.wad" is a wadfile you've added in your editor, simply what it means is that it can't find that wadfile and therefore cant read any textures that's added in your map.Wad files are placed in the steam folders it vairies abit from person to person where you installed it but its somewhere like this: //:c/program files/steam/steamapps/*YOUR STEAM NAME*/counter-strike/cstrike <--- this is the folder ALL your wad files must be placed in for the game to be able to read it.

haha yes they are. only way they will look like terroists or couter terrorists is if you are making a source map with the source sdk. They will just be boxes for hl1 maps
