could you post a video of the lasers working in the dark? the picture you posted on the site was...er slightly impressive but I just want to see the epic thing in action =D
Hello I am a member of gbfans and I the process of my own pack. For some reason I cany get instructables to work so I wanted to ask if you can send me instructions on installing the lasers. I am on the boards as solodarkprince. That is also my AOL email. Hope to hear back soon. If you email me make sure you state who youe are in case it goes to my spam. Happens sometimes.
So awesome. Good work. I was at a bar for halloween where I saw a group of four guys dressed up as the ghostbusters. I wonder if they could see how disappointed I was when I noticed they had on those silly inflatable store bought proton packs. They got nothing on you man.
Nice work man. I just finished working on mine. I spent the last 12 days obsessing over my proton pack for Halloween, although I did not have time to put in lights. Still happy with it. I might give it another shot to make another one next year. I must admit it is addicting to be able to perfect a proton pack.
Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to incorporate sound next year. There are some really awesome videos of the more professionally done packs that involve sound, but I've been trying to build this one "on the cheap" since day one. The flight suit was $40 and that was the biggest expense so far.
A lot of people have been saying something similar. I tried to work out a way to open the trap with stuff I had on hand, but I didn't want to do it unless I'd be able to close it with the trigger as well. These are all projects (along with sound!) that I'm going to try to incorporate in next year's upgrade.
You should've said: "Well, THE GOGGLES DO NOTHING, but they sure look nice."

needs a pistol belt. It just looks weird without the belt. You can get one for cheap at a hardware store.

Thank you, that's a very nice compliment. I don't really consider myself an artist, I just like to build things.

very nicee! you should add a mini fog machine so the lasers can be seen. Idk it look cool
mzn1991 2 years ago
Yeah I know, that's definitely a project for next year.

Very solid.
Put chipped dry ice in the "Trap" with a method to open/close + add water if possible.
The resulting fog would allow dramatic improvement in the visibility of the lasers.
