The dialogue is precious in these movies. An almost lost art. too bad. NOTICE at scene 8:10 Betty Davis as a young girl looks a lot like Alfred Hitchcock's daughter!

So many good, talented people involved in this movie. It's dizzying! I even remember when the song came out, which I knew nothing about, being little, but it did seem creepy to me. I am just nuts about Moorehead, but EVERYONE involved in this one was tops -- the people behind the scenes, absolute pros. What a production! Thank you. Uprated. Greetings from France via the USA.

I love the way DeHavilland delivers the line "why wouldn't I tell him that his pure, darling little girl was having a DIRTY little affair with a MARRIED MAN?" And Davis's power and fury when she says "You're a vile, sorry little bitch" LOL Fantastic scene!
