Well basically we want proof of water there because we've been thinking for awhile about setting up some sort of Moon Base, similar to the International Space Station that we have setup orbiting the Earth. Having a base on the moon is much more efficient than having a space station orbiting our planet.
my dad totally was on the spot with what you said in regard to Obama and the Noble Prize Pete, but as far as the moon, one of those missiles should haven been for the moon the other they could have made to collect data/ cell signal :P and besides one thing i want to know is when did they shoot these "rockets" off, by my estimates it would have took some where around 42 hours to get to the moon, great vids pete late,,,,mmm 151 :D
