  • Great shooting,

  • Who was the first archer?

  • @hhh4evur

    Oh Jin Hyek

  • funny, top recurve archers: Korea, Korea, Korea, Korea, Ukraine... It appears Korea has a slight advantage

  • all of these are really incredible techniques, and different in style, perhaps, but the most important point in this is to manage to control that technique, in order that you can perform exacty the same shot in any situation, obviously that each style is different, and you should use the one that best fits with you.

  • Indeed. No one would have thought that he would break the WR. I have tried Ruban's method and I can say his thumb might be dislocated from his whole hand haha!

  • also..i dont think he even use a finger sling in beijing olympic.

  • It isn't easy for a lot of people, a woman in my club who shot with Latvia 20 odd years ago does the behind the neck thing but she has to bend her thumb and let it sit in behind a tendon in her neck to make it work, and she shoots so very very good scores like that!

  • Funny how Oh's technique looks the least polished of the lot yet he's the new 90m and FITA world record holder. I'm impressed with Ruban making that behind-the-neck anchor work so well for him.
