Indeed. No one would have thought that he would break the WR. I have tried Ruban's method and I can say his thumb might be dislocated from his whole hand haha!
It isn't easy for a lot of people, a woman in my club who shot with Latvia 20 odd years ago does the behind the neck thing but she has to bend her thumb and let it sit in behind a tendon in her neck to make it work, and she shoots so very very good scores like that!
Funny how Oh's technique looks the least polished of the lot yet he's the new 90m and FITA world record holder. I'm impressed with Ruban making that behind-the-neck anchor work so well for him.
