Benchmade 710 Review

Razor sharp means that you can shave with it. So, in order to prove it, do not cut paper, shave some of your arms hair , unless you can do that, it's not razor sharp. The 710 I received some days ago can cut paper as easily if not better (!) than yours but is not razor sharp (it won't really shave my arms or legs hair) . my BM 913s really IS however

As I type this, Benchmade 710 is on the way. But it's expensive. BM 707 Sequel is also superb and at half the price!

I love this knife, and you did a great job with sharing it with us. No foul. Martinaee is on the money; this is YOU Tube. I just kept losing focus on the knife when your camera didn't focus on it, but instead focused on the background and everything else on your bedroom floor. Cool TV though! A+ for effort. It made me feel like I was chillin' at my buddy's house with a cold beer in my hand.

Hmm iv never had the spydie military, but i realllly want one but i dont think ill be getting one anytime soon cuz of the money. But i love this knife, and the axis lock is awesome. But its all up to you and what you want and what you like. Wow man 40 bux?! And i thought like 8 bux was bad haha thats ridiculouse!

I have the d2 blade and yes it is if you have the spyderco sharp maker which i love to use and it put a very good edge on it. But like i said, its all up to what u want in your knife

I would get the Benchmade. You will fall in love with the AXIS lock....it is so easy! It is a great alternative to an automatic knife. I will only buy AXIS lock Benchmades or Waved Emersons. BTW, D2 is amazing! I feel the s30v is over rated!

whaaaaa!!!! That's a good knife too. But you could get two 710's for that price and I think the 710 is about as good as it gets.

Yes=( I traded it for a Benchmade model 42 but it wasnt in as good condition as i expected so i sold it for 125 and bought a spyderfly for 50 plus a cyclone and an endura waved... i know it was stupid but o well

yes very nice knife, the only thing i don't like it the lock :/

It seems hard to open with gloves, or oily hands.

Spydercos on the other hand have that big thumb hole, with i think is easier.

Thanks you. I actually love the axis lock its very nice. Yes i see what you mean by it being hard to open with gloves or something, but if i know im going to be doing something with gloves or something i carry my Kershaw Cyclone. Ya i love spydercos too. My next knife im going to get is going to be a benchmade griptillian with the spydie hole. Thanks tho. And i traded my spyderco endura 4 with white frn handles for it. I think it was a very good trade on my part haha

Ya actually i just got my sharpmaker tuesday, but i havent used it on any of my good knives yet, just my pos knives cuz i amd afraid to screw up the blades so im practicing on my crappy ones haha but thanks for the info!
